Reviewed 9 April 2023 - Trip Advisor. I happen to walk into this bar on the off chance and seen a guy behind the bar bringing the life and soul to the whole bar area, with his whistle and his drum & i thought he was ace, really vibey. Made you want to dance all night, with help from his colleagues swinging the lights around and creating a great atmosphere. anyway a fortnight later i ended up booking a table to return to the same place for the same atmosphere and there he was again, his names billy, and again he didn’t disappoint even during busy periods he managed to interact with the crowd. Fair play to him, you need some good characteristics to be able to keep a crowd entertained, just here to sing his praises really. Vibey! 4th Aug 23 - god i love this place. I took my friends on a spontaneous night out and i knew this was the exact atmosphere they would’ve wanted! My friends had an absolute blast. I noticed some more bar staff this time round who loved to interact with the crowd and entertain, it really is such a great place to spend your evening. šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»

I’ve been here on an evening and a disco bottomless brunch. The vibe and atmosphere is insane! The drinks do not stop coming. The food was funny as a brunch. Beef curry in a takeaway box. But apart from the food everything else was great. The drag queens sang and we’re great entertainment as well as the bar staff! Brunch was Ā£42 Per person for 2 hours. The evening is just as bonkers too. Bar staff are entertainment and are fab with lots of energy. Great music to dance to. 3 rooms for different music. Drinks are expensive. Cocktails start from Ā£12.50. A small bottle of cider Ā£6.50. To be expected I guess!

Didn't have food so I can't comment on that, but no reason to think it's not great! Went here for pre drinks before a club might at the Fleece. Cocktail happy hour was great. We especially liked these drinks as the biscuit on the side meant I felt like I had a drink and a snack. Friendly staff, clean toilets, everything you'd want!

I have visited multiple times and have always recommended to family and friends as one of the best places to visit for a fun evening out.

Which is why Saturday was such a disappointment for myself. It was my birthday, we had a table booked that my friends had planned for me. We all turn up and everyone, every single one of my party is allowed to enter apart from me.

I am also not blind to the fact that the assumption is going to be that I was potentially too ā€˜drunk’ to enter, this certainly and categorically not the case. I also understand a table booking doesn't automatically deem you a right for entry.

However, the men outside, who get to decide who is allowed in, were nothing short of the most dismissive and rude individuals, I’ve certainly never seen them before when visiting. I tried having a conversation politely with the gentleman, to see if maybe they ā€˜might’ change their mind as It was my birthday?

It seemed to just become a pride thing for them, they made their decision and that’s that. It absolutely seemed targeted, I wasn’t aggressive in the slightest yet I was met with rudeness. They even said they’ll make sure I don’t get in anywhere around there?

I continued my night at a neighbouring premises, and took my business elsewhere. In fact multiple other places allowed me entry, which tells me, it certainly wasn’t myself that had any issues.

Safe to say I’m very let down by this service, I won’t be returning ever again and will not be recommending any further. I think you should thoroughly review who you have representing yourselves outside your premises.

Dissatisfied is an...

I visited yesterday with a few friends after prebooking for my boyfriends birthday, we also had a bar tab of £70. We were left waiting to be seated so just sat down and then we were told our table was right by the door only realistically big enough for two people so we asked if we could be moved or our money refunded so we were moved. The music is very good but way too loud, we had to literally shout at each other and still couldn't hear what each other was saying so if you are planning on being able to have a conversation whilst enjoying your drink this isn't the place for you. Also the happy hour doesn't start until 4pm and ends at 8pm, after ordering a round and drinking our drinks we were advised the 241 wasn't starting until 4pm and we had spent out tab. When checking the menu and looking at the sign outside it just says 241 cocktails during hour hour at the end time 8pm but doesn't state when it starts. We have been a number of times previously but after our last few visits it seems to be going downhill and after yesterdays experience we won't be returning again. Not an enjoyable experience we left after around 30 minutes. The particular member of staff who moved us and explained about the 241 was very friendly and helpful but we still...

We came here two days in a row, very early just after they had opened. It was a hot day so everyone else was enjoying a drink outside. This place a cool inside and quiet, just a couple of people inside. Lawrence, behind the bar greeted us and got some cocktails, which were on 2 for 1 offer. Even though he was visibly busy getting the bar ready for the evening, spent plenty of time with us, giving advice and help about what drinks to have next and recommending other cocktails. Such an amazing guy! He was reason we visited again the next evening.

The atmosphere this time was completely different, it being a Friday night. the music was loud, the staff were building an atmosphere, Lawrence came out to say hello and pour us one of his recommendations. Tom also got involved and served us our next drinks, again on the 2 for 1 offer. Overall all the team here were great and clearly enjoying themselves while showing off their flare talents mixing the cocktails.

Thank you to all the guys who we meet here, it really made our stay in Bristol. A special thanks to Lawrence (employee of the month) We...
