The Crown Tavern — Restaurant in Bristol

The woman on duty was just down right rude. I’m out in Bristol for travels, Popped into the sun just prior for some sweets and a Fanta. Just wanted a pint so saw this pub. Came in she was looking at me funny and I asked why she said well you’re coming into a pub with Fanta and sweets I want your id. So I reach for my bag and she said you know what forget it I want you to leave. She also said she’s closing soon so doesn’t want to serve me. Although it was pretty busy and 3.45pm. I’m 19 turning 20 soon I understand the regulations of id if you look under 25 but I don’t expect...

This pub is hidden in plain sight but NOT to be missed! It's beautifully decorated but has kept the old charming qualities (the open fireplace is gorgeous!).

It's in a brilliant location, close to Temple Meads and Bristol's city centre. It's also perfect for drinks before visiting club nights at Motion and other venues. They serve a selection of local beers, ales and ciders (and Bass!).

The staff are so wonderful and friendly, they can't do enough for you and they LOVE dogs! Can't...

Visited The Crown Tavern on Lawford's Gate, and I can't say enough good things about this place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but it still has that classic pub charm that makes you feel right at home. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and it is a proper nice pub. Highly recommend if you're in Bristol! (Cracking pint of...
