I'm still undecided... This was my first visit here this weekend and it gave me mixed emotions. I've been excited to visit here for a while seeing the reviews and photos on their Facebook page. I don't think there was an event on so maybe why it seemed different.
Overall the place looks very aesthetically pleasing, quite girly and fun. The lady on reception at the beginning was sooo lovely and welcoming. The cocktails I had tasted nice and sweet, the music was ok, not my taste but other people seemed to like it (it was a mixture but I checked out when abba and one direction came on 😂). They have a Photo Booth (£5 charge) which is a cool touch that my friends and I enjoyed. The lighting for photos is soo good with the flash on. I felt it was more of a club vibe with very loud music etc but a little dead on the floor as there's not a dedicated dance floor, its more the space in the middle and around tables. But then the same with all places, sometimes its busy, sometimes it isn't. I think I just mainly wasn't in the mood to be out, otherwise I'm sure it would've been a lot of fun.
Some things I wasn't a fan of: The bar service was poor - bars get busy and it's expected to wait however my friend and I were waiting for about 20 mins to be served. The lady serving saw us multiple times but served others before us. Not a big deal to me but my friend was quite upset as we'd been waiting a while and it was her birthday. When my friend questioned this, we were told to go down the other side of the bar and wait to order there despite nobody mentioning it previously.
The drinks are a tad pricey. About £11 a cocktail which I guess is kinda standard now but it adds up. The main issue is that by the time you get served, you've sobered up so end up spending a lot more. I was also charged different amounts for the same cocktail a few times which was odd.
I didn't witness it but my friend said she'd asked the dj to play a song which she said matched the vibe of what they were already playing as it was her birthday. Apparently he looked at it and laughed saying "yeah I'm not playing that." She said it was her birthday and he just said "yeah so what". Again, just what I was told.
The toilets were pretty bad. Lovely lighting for mirror pics but I don't think any maintenance was done during the night. I wouldn't use them myself. There's only 6 cubicles which I feel personally isn't enough. Multiple were blocked up and to the point it was even remotely sanitary, all the floors were soaked and were a major slipping hazard especially if wearing heels. It just wasn't pleasant at all.
Overall, I feel like there were good and bad things, same as any place. I'll probably give it another go in the future, but will definitely be wearing flats because of the floors. Hopefully they can address some of the other issues by then. But give it a go! Many people enjoy it.

Read moreI was extremely disappointed with my experience here and how it has been dealt with. We planned to have a lovely night out for my friends 31st birthday but the night couldn’t have been further from this. As soon as we got to the door we were greeted with a vile security guard with a very intimidating presence, which made us all very uncomfortable from the get go. He then proceeded to try and refuse us entry even though we had pre paid for our table and drinks. After about 20 minutes of back and forth with him, we finally managed to go to our table, and informed the manager of this security guards disgusting behaviour on our way in, to which we were told he would be spoken to about it. We left after 1 drink as we did not feel comfortable staying there at all. On our way out of the venue, the same security then shouted a very derogatory term at my friend, pushed my other friend, and then hit my friends phone out of her hand whilst getting in her face shouting abuse at her. We have all stayed quiet about this incident as the manager assured us it was being dealt with and that the security guard had been removed from the venue. However, after hearing about a friends experience here on the weekend, it was made clear he in fact is STILL working there, and STILL speaking to women very disrespectfully, to the point my friend said it honestly feels like he hates women. For a place that prides themselves so much on making women feel safe and wanting us to be able to enjoy our night without having to worry about the awful things that go on on a night out, this couldn’t be further from how they have made us feel as a group of young women. I definitely will not...

My biggest issue was that the members of our group that weren't drinking alcohol were made to feel very awkward about it by one particular member of staff. Pitchers of drink were brought over to us without us being told what they were, and when my (very pregnant) friend asked if we could have something non-alcoholic we were met with a very blank expression, then reluctantly told we could have a version of a Pornstar Martini (which was horrible). I just drank water for the rest of the night, but even that was brought to us begrudgingly. Disappointing considering the website actually says non-alcoholic versions are available. I would have bought a mocktail from the bar but I was so annoyed that I didn't really feel like giving them any more of my money! I can't remember the last time I wrote a negative review for a place, but I couldn't let this experience slide...
