Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Bury

Visited this morning and was asked to do the track and trace. I said I would do the NHS one when at the counter. I was told by the manager that they didn't have NHS one any more and to use the Costa one. I have no dispute with track and trace but it was the manner in which I was 'ordered' to do it that upset me especially when I do it every time I visit. I then asked if she would please clear the table as there were cups left from the previous customer. She told me bluntly that i shouldn't have sat at a table with cups on it. I then did point out that the majority of the tables had not been cleared so I didn't have much choice. She did clear the cups away but in a rude manner, snatching the tray and cups away. I am a regular visitor to this Costa and have been going since it first opened. I love the friendly staff and atmosphere but felt quite upset with the way I was spoken to today, especially by the manger who should surely lead by example. Not everyone wakes up wanting to go to work but a bad mood should not be and excuse for rude,...

Disgusting store! The attitude Of the store manager towards her staff is disgusting.

The air conditioning is broken leaving the store a sweat box with staff red as tomatoes and on the verge of passing out! Shocking work ethic!!

The assistant manager I believe she is called Laura or Lauren, works so hard and always has a smile on her face. Genuine lady who goes above and beyond for her customers.

The man on who is always always in the shop floor doesn’t stop! He’s being worked to death! He never seems to have help.

Poor management. Clearly doesn’t have people skills. Speaks rude and abruptly to her staff and to customers.

One staff member is not clear! Her personal hygiene is disgusting. If she is making drinks I will leave without making a purchase

Don't know why I keep punishing myself with Costa, I always vow to never return but then end up being left with no other options. My son who is 10 years old wanted a frostino whilst we in town, so off we went. Queued for what seemed to be an unreasonable amount of time for how many of us there were but I'm not a monster and will take into account staffing and Covid etc.... Placed order only to be told no, none available. Placed another order, no, that's not available either. Asked what they did had and was given two options of iced tea or a raspberry iced drink. He chose the latter, which then took an absolute age to be made. Anyway it was undrinkable so was...
