If I could give less than 1 star, trust me I would. We ordered a couple of pizzas & sides last night. The order was accepted quick enough, and after a long day at work, the wife was looking at the updates on the app. About half an hour passed by, and the status was updated to ‘boxing/packaging your food’ or something along those lines, and this is where the problems began. It remained on that status for 40 minutes, so we called the restaurant to see if there was a delay/issue - the line connected but we were hung up on straight away. 20 calls later with exactly the same outcome, the store answering and then putting the phone down straight away. An hour and 40 minutes after placing the initial order (the app had said the food was being packaged for over an hour at this point) we get a knock on the door. The driver was friendly enough, and knowing it wasn’t any fault of his own I didn’t mention the issues to him, because realistically, what was he suppose to do? We open the food to find it stone cold (not like warm, literally cold, with the grease congealed between the pizza and the box). We called the store once again (the 23rd phone call we had made to the place that evening) and the manager answered. We told him about the issues, and that the food was flat cold, his response was “what do you want me to do about it?”.. this made me see red. He admitted in the phone call that he had no idea about food hygiene or any form of food safety, and it was up to us if we wanted to eat there again, saying that “he wouldn’t lose any sleep over us not ordering from them again”. All I can say is that this is a joke of a business, and if any executives from head office read this - I highly suggest you take a look at the management structure in place here before your brand reputation...
Read moreI ordered pizzas and cookie dough online on Friday 09/03/2018. The quoted delivery time on the website was 15-25 minutes; the food arrived after 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Whilst waiting for the food, we tried to contact the PizzaHut delivery branch however after calling at least 10 times (and waiting 3 minutes each time) there was no answer from the branch.
Once the food arrived the delivery driver was very defensive and rude about the late arrival of the food; by this time, the kids and I had lost our appetite.
Upon opening the boxes of food the situation was horrid; the children's pizza (margherita) had garlic shavings on it which were specifically not requested. The tuna pizza smelt like wet dog and was soggy, and as for the cookie dough, it was more of a biscuit than a dough. I must say, the ice cream was fine, so credit due where credit owed.
For the reasons listed above, we shall not be ordering from Pizza Hut again, and we will (and have) spread the message to other members of...
Read moreTbh they are lucky I can't put no stars because I ordered my takeaway it arrived quite early but once I got to opening the bag noticed some things were missing, so I call the takeaway shop he apologies and says it will be with me soon so the takeaway driver call's up and says I can either drop it off now or I can order double next time so I was like no I want it now so he tells me he was in Sowerby bridge from Ovenden in 10 minutes so then he tells me that his car is fast (on what planet is a Toyota yaris fast) then I ask how long it would be from there back here he tells me that it's much longer than 10 minutes, so I said I thought your car is fast he then tells me that he has other deliveries so everytime I called he kept saying 10/15 I was up most of the night waiting for this delivery this was posted at 8:25am and I'm still waiting this will be the last time I order from...
