Amazing baklava and desserts BUT

1- The lady who owns the place kicked someone out today in an extremely rude way which obviously made it uncomfortable for me and others too! I tried to constructively tell her that it could have been done better but she's extremely defensive and aggressive. Other customers tried to tell her the same, she was not buying it. She kept on arguing that she was frustrated and angry..

2- I got kicked out 3 months ago just because I walked in holding a backgammon! Today she tried to explain it was because she had bad experiences in the past with people playing backgammon and making noises.

She just doesn't have the right manners for this business and it's a shame because the food is actually quite fantastic.

It was my last time visiting them and I discourage everyone from dining in. Her energy is way too negative for a relaxed evening. Also, for some strange reason, they always pick the most comfortable corner of the cafe for themselves and leave their own coats and...

Kind of disappointing. We came when it was quiet and had a Turkish breakfast. Unfortunately the bread was almost completely stale (and one piece was possibly reused from another meal?! Just by how it looked, no way to confirm). It seemed that the salad and hummus were likely from the supermarket. There may have been a miscommunication- but we didn’t know we had to go up to order. We asked if there was table service upon entry and were told yes, so that wasted some time while we sat waiting. When our food was ready, kitchen was ringing the bell loads but staff seemed to just ignore it. It was only until the kitchen literally had to constantly ring the bell that someone got our food (of course, a bit cold by then). Also found it confusing that we were told the breakfast is for 2 but came with one tea only and had to order another. Didn’t try the deserts, but they looked alright. It's a lovely place with delicious cakes and a lots of various options of cakes but the customer service needs to be improved. The face expression and the way the staff acts while a customer is there is abit random and its like u're in their house not in a cafe place, it's like they aren't aware of ur presence. A little smile and a welcome attitude goes a long way :) . The second point is it would be nicer to see the price tags on the cakes so that u can know how much u can spend or for what u have been charged for. As a consumer is my right and it will be easier than asking while they are busy doing something.
