Local Cafe When was the last time I entering this cafe? I think it's when HMV was still outside the upstairs windows. It has been too long. Why? Because the pastries looked so ordinary. They remained me of the pastries in local supermarkets(but more expensive than the ones in supermarket!). Everything was just nothing special. Finally got something attracted me. Pistachio croissant that only costs £2.70! I weighted it at home. It's 90g, similar to other rival cafe/bakery of the town centre. Surprisingly it was full of filling. The filling was well flavoured, not crazily sweet. I am not sure if the cafe would heat the pastries for the customers? But the environment of the cafe was quite good. Comfortable sofas and the tables were not too close to each other. And the toilet went out of tissues......

I love this cafe. Favourite put of all the choices. The food and drink is good. I first went in there many years ago for a hot chocolate because I tried Starbucks hot coco and it qas horrible. Cafe nero on the other hand makes lovely hot chocolate. Also I recommend the toasted chicken and bacon toasty.

Good croissant and coffee, and the atmosphere feels very cosy and civilised on a Saturday morning. The only problem is that the toilet requires an access code and several consumers struggled to access it. I got the code from the staff but the door wouldn't open even after typing it in.

Sadly yesterday, the service was terrible. I waited for a long time being served. With me my 5 year old pupil. It wasn't busy, so that was not the reason. The reason was that the two employees were too occupied with chatting with each other and customers. I did mention this to one of them and his ( I think he was male, apologies if not) reply was that he was very busy with orders, which was absolutely not true! I overheard his conversations! I wasn't the only customer being irritated. I've been to this cafe more often and the service has always been 5* but not yesterday. I don't mind waiting when it's very busy but it was quiet! My pupil, very understandably, became restless. To make things worse, when we finally had our drinks, to then go upstairs, the employee knocked my pupil with a sort of washing bowl against his head. I'm sure the employee didn't do this on purpose but to be honest , he ( I think he was a man, apologies if not) wasn't really looking. Yes, I will return to this cafe but no, if I see that these employees are...

As a regular customer and a fan of your luxury caramel latte and luxury mocha, I was disappointed by my recent experience. My friend and I ordered these drinks, which we look forward to, but unfortunately, the service and drink quality did not meet expectations.

After requesting extra whipping cream for my latte, the barista made the drink in a way that caused it to spill over the edges, making it difficult to enjoy. Despite noticing this, he still served it to me in its messy state. When I mentioned the issue, he replaced the mug, but by then, the coffee's quality was already compromised and he informed us there was no whipping cream left for the Mocha which was disappointing as we paid in advance for that as well. As a loyal customer, I would suggest that if they are running low on ingredients, the staff inform customers in advance. My friend had been hesitant to return due to a previous experience, and this visit unfortunately reinforced their concerns. Our entire mood was ruined and didn’t drink the coffee and...
