Trying to review all of the Cambridge pubs therefore entered this pub.

It's a Thai menu, what a surprise for a Green King pub. Therefore the rivals are not other pubs at all.

As a pub with a Thai menu, it's very different to Giggling Squid nearby.

The food was in generous portions. Everything tasted great and flavourful.

The sauce for the grilled pork neck was very spicy therefore I didn't dip it.

Glad the pork had basic seasoning so I could finish the dish without trouble. The pork was so juicy and tender.

A good example that everything in the plate has to have basic seasoning.

The pineapple fried rice was tasty but not oily. It has a generous amount of meat inside the rice.

Maybe it is not as fancy as Giggling Squid physically. The toilet and restaurant was roomy and clean.

I would return to try other things in the menu. The food was so attractive, stylish and unique.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The décor was tasteful and cozy, blending traditional Thai elements with a modern touch. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.

But let’s talk about the food — wow. Every single dish was bursting with flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the pad thai, tom yum koong, and green curry — it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had.

A little wait for the food to come out but tasted great. Staff were friendly. We didn't book and still managed to get a table for 4 on Saturday night. Reasonable prices. Would go again.

Update: Visited again (Jan 2020), vegetarian options only. Ordered veg spring rolls and vegetable yellow curry. Couldn't see any veg options on the chef's special menu but there are stir fries, pad thai and other vegetable curries to choose from (including a few starters and soup).

Excellent service, food was nice. Spring rolls were lacking a little flavour compared to the ones I had previous but were crisp and tasty with the sauce. Yellow curry was packed full of flavour, a little spicier then expected but really tasty. Vegetables in the curry included peppers, potatoes, broccoli, pak choi, onions...
