Passed by a few times and was always attracted by the lovely buttery eggy smell of crepes.

I usually have savory galettes, and savory crepes are quite new to me. Although it’s not as crispy, the soft and chewy crepe gently wraps around the filling and gives a different sensation. The cheese is less prominent but the portion of ham is quite generous :)

Table service is friendly. Takes a little time to order but food comes fast.

Looking forward to try other items on the menu (eg goat cheese, pesto, or double ham cheese) after the restaurant week deal :

The coffee is actually quite good for a chain, a non-coffee shop kind of chain. The skinny latte is still rich and has a nutty taste. (Alternative soya milk is sweetened)

The savory crepe is one the salty side. I tasted some grains of salt occasionally. While salt boosts the flavor, remember to keep hydrated. The table next to me said the sweet ones are too sweet.

Overall a good little space to sit down, enjoy a crepe with fork and knife in front of the round church, sip coffee, and maybe do some work in the aroma of crepe batter or fried spinach or sweat cream. It’s not that crowded...

Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional staff in the Cambridge branch. App order only, which we were not informed about that in advance, and when we were unable to figure out this complicated novelty because of its own technical failures (we actually didn't have to but still gave a try), just for two coffees and a crêpe, the manager lady treated us horribly, as if we must do that way or we should go, and eventually we decided to leave. You shall better treat every single customer as if your first one and as if they may have no idea about your app whatever, at all, and you cannot force people to provide very personal details through an insecure as well as clumsy app, and it was a quite bad surprise when already seated. Otherwise, please write that ("APP ORDER ONLY" etc.) in bold capitals, so that we never visit you at all. We don't have to follow your novel order methods, and please develop a new customer protocol including a plan B in case of such failures that happen, rather than such a bad treatment as if we were the ones who caused mess and disturbed the manager lady (?) that the experience overall truly ruined...

GAVE ME THE WRONG ORDER AND REFUSED TO REFUND ME! AVOID!!!

On top of that the staff were miserable, saw us waiting to be served for about 5 minutes but didn't even approach us to say they'll be with us shortly, they just glanced over then ignored us the whole time. When we finally got served they were moody and unhelpful. Not only did they give us the wrong meal, it was also extremely undercooked (except the bacon which was burnt), and despite me asking politely they refused to refund me for their error!! What kind of restaurant does that?! Absolute joke.

I came here a year or 2 ago and loved it. The staff were lovely and the food used to be delicious, so I was really excited to return, but it seems there are new people working here now who have let it go completely down hill. I also notice their food hygiene rating as of January is only a 3 which isn't great!!

If you want to keep your customers it's pretty simple - friendly customer service and give them the correct order (ideally...

This place looked like a perfect spot for a rest after walking around Cambridge city centre, and if you’re after just a coffee or similar then perhaps it is. However, the place is named for crepes, so I ordered the Eggs Royale version, and how disappointed I was. First, it arrived like it didn’t know what it was. The salmon was just sitting on top of the crepe and there was no sign of the eggs. After unraveling the batter, I came across sprinklings of scrambled egg stuck in the batter but there was barely enough to guess that there was one egg in there, let alone the “eggs” (plural) we were promised. Furthermore, the crepe was undercooked. In the attached photo you can see uncooked batter, to which the meagre amount of egg was stuck to. It was so bad I barely ate it at all. Very disappointing overall and I’ll be staying away from this franchise.

New Year Visit I used to go to this restaurant frequently in the past. It has been too long and I haven't been here because I am busy doing reviews of other restaurants. Not many restaurants and shops open on New Year's day, so disappointing. With poor weather too. Glad to find that Crepeaffaire is opened for business. A good chance to write a review of Crepeaffaire. What a surprise that their portion didn't reduce over the years, so did the quality. The price was as reasonable as in the past. Got 10% off when you order by scanning the provided QR code in the restaurant too! Happy New Year!
