WORST TRIAL SHIFT OF MY LIFE

If I could rate this place zero stars, believe me I would. In the summer of 2023 the owner scheduled me for public humiliation in the form of a trial shift, on possibly the busiest and hottest day of the year. I was asked to memorise (because they were unlabelled) ten different flavours of ice cream... there wasn't even vanilla or chocolate that I could bank on remembering. He then proceeded to put me on the till with all of one minute of training, where I was required to memorise the price of each of the ice creams. Moreover, once I had finished the trial shift, I was then told I would be going down to the basement to be tested on my 'natural scooping ability' - I am still half convinced this was just a sick joke. I think the cherry on the top was that I wasn't even offered a FREE ICE CREAM for a TWO-HOUR...

I had my first ever Gelato at Jack's Gelato last year! You can genuinely tell that they use proper fresh ingredients as the flavours taste nothing like the artificial stuff. Amazed with the vegan options & will definitely be making repeat visit when I will back to explore again Cambridge! The staff are very friendly & very hubmle to assit you with picking your ideal flavour, even though they were so busy to serve the long queue outside clicked picture with me becuase I needed memory. 😄

As a loyal Jack’s customer I came to come and check out their new branch on All Saints Passage, love their interesting and unique flavours, especially the hibiscus and kombucha! Lovely customer service by a girl who I believe was called Hannah? She was so helpful to explain all the flavours and let me and my husband test some flavours before choosing.
