Ta Bouche — Restaurant in Cambridge

Popped in for a quick drink before a dinner reservation. It wasn't too busy, but it took an age as there was only 1 person serving, and their cocktails are quite time-consuming to create. A second person did start serving, eventually, but ignored the first server telling him who was next and worked on drinks for the people he had been sitting with rather than the people who had been waiting. When I did get served, my drink was excellent. The music was incredibly loud, so we sat as far from the speakers as possible, we ended up welcoming strangers to sit with us who were trying to do exactly the same. It was so loud I couldn't actually hear the person behind the bar when he asked questions or told me the price. It was only 5:30pm, so absolutely unnecessary to be that loud - fine for later when the place is packed, but two thirds empty in the early evening ruined...

Went here on Saturday night for a drink. Ordered 3 dark rum mojitos and the barman gave me 3 white rum mojitos . When I complained and said I wanted them changed the barman with the black hair lied and denied this saying they were dark rum. When I said I was not accepting that and wanted three mojitos with dark rum inside them the other barman got on involved and said that I was a liar. When I raised my voice at all three bar staff in disgust at how rude they were being with me they then decided to call security to throw me out. What a disgusting way to treat a customer . If you want to avoid dishonest bar men and women with a bad attitude then don’t come to this place ever. Judging by the other recent negative experiences from other customers looks like they need to sack some of their bad...

We turned up as a group of 12ish, we were told we would be broken up into groups we were okay with that we did have one table booked for a few of the group beforehand. We sat down, ordered drinks through the app although a waitress lady began to start shouting to us for something we didn't do, she told us drink your drinks then leave. A bouncer did come over in the end and acted calmly and professionally and we were happy to leave after the one drink we had. But I found it unnecessary for a waitress to shout our loudly so all the other tables could hear, another table we didn't even know got involved and told the waitress it was no right way to speak to anybody let alone a customer.
