Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

I wouldn't even give them the satisfaction of a one star!!!!! Day light robbery!

On the 31st January we ordered a pizza totalling £25. We've never ordered from them before and after receiving an offer booklet we gave it ago. Never again!! We ordered at 18.11 and at 19.40 I called the store to find out where our delivery was. After explaining how long I'd been waiting the man on the other end of phone was as surprised as me that we had no food yet. After finding out it was out of delivery we received a knock at the door 20 minutes later. The delivery driver explained that he messaged the addresses up and it might be slightly cold and to check I'm happy. Obviously I wasn't as the pizzas were cold the potato tots were under cooked squashed and stone cold and I didn't even receive the bottle of pop. I explained i wasn't happy for the driver to make a phone call to ask for a remake which we got turned down. I said well I want my money back, also got turned down. So after this the driver went back to store we called the store to be told that in 3-5 days the refund will be processed. After leaving it a while we checked and still after 10 days plus we have no refund!! It's a disgrace. My son was distraught over the fact he had to wait two hours for no food. Which we had to then fork out more money when it was only meant to be a nice family treat!

I love PJs as a chain but this branch is just kinda bad. Lichfield and Codsall are much better.

I’m vegan, I order the same pizza every week from here and although there’s always something wrong (like a missing topping or wrong sauce), last week my pizza with vegan meat on it also came with bacon. Not too big of a deal considering it only happened once, but I can imagine it might upset other veggies/those who avoid pork for religious reasons.

Today I ordered an all day breakfast pizza (cheese, sausage, potato tots and mushrooms), and removed mushrooms and added nothing. Pizza came COVERED in olives, sweet corn, tomato, onion and green peppers - all things I really hate. Would be awful if you have an allergy to anything they have in the store as they clearly aren’t fussed about tossing the wrong thing on your pizza.

Just general niggles with the place too. I always order double hot dog sausage and often there’s multiple slices with 1 or 0 pieces of sausage on, called before to report problems and they’ve said they’ll send free stuff that they didn’t send, every time there’s at least 1 general mistake with the order. The online tracking is useless and always says delivered at least 20-30 minutes before it...

Ordered numerous times now from this branch and each time I have had to call after placing the order because the app has advised it’s been delivered already Always way over 1hour delivery and that’s being lenient! NOW! Ordered via just eat rather than direct, just eat app advised it had been delivered…it hadn’t! Called and was advised it was on its way, another half hour passed so called again, asked for my postcode got as far as WS12 Said it was on its way, I said there’s 1 pizza being delivered to the whole of the WS12 postcode? PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME This was over a 2 hour time span! Cancelled the order after I had complained about the rude customer service I will never order from this branch again, I’ll never recommend to order from them again either Absolute joke, food is always cold, rude customer service, long wait times! Save yourself the agro and order elsewhere! Thanks very much...
