TLDR; Service took over an hour, got multiple orders wrong, not able to ask for bottomless, paid what we had instead of bottomless brunch. Do not recommend for big groups.
First impression, the decor upstairs is 'back to the olden colonial' days which made me as a Black person very uncomfortable. And the lightning is dim which isn't great. I understand the cosy vibe but when it's dark outside in the winter then the lights could be a bit brighter. Terrible service throughout, had to wait so long. Booked for a table of 12 of us a month ago for bottomless brunch at 10:30am. Ordered drinks at 10:50am and I didn't get served food until noon! I had to reorder my drink 3 times because they didn't have what I asked for and kept coming back to tell me so had to order different ones. Very simple solution would be to check what's out of stock at the beginning of the shift, keep a list updated throughout the day, and inform all the servers so they can tell customers when given menus what is unavailable so no one is disappointed. Especially when there's already been delivery problems.
The chef argued that bacon didn't come with the breakfast when it is clearly stated on the menu so had to send that plate back twice, and I had to wait for my marshmallows for so long (this being the 3rd time that I'd tried to get a drink) that my hot chocolate got cold! When I finally got my food, there was no spinach so had to send thst back too. No one was offered any sauces and even though we were booked in for bottomless drinks, most people only had one drink the whole time because the service took so long. It took me an hour to get my first drink and that was just the water for the table! Definitely do not go with a big group.
Only thing that saved them was that the food was yummy and warm when served. I used to work BOH and FOH so not just reviewing as a customer with no restaurant customer service experience and it seemed like they were understaffed and bad communication between kitchen and servers. They didn't do anything to help themselves either e.g. bring a bottle of prosecco so we weren't waiting to ask, or a jug of mimosa, no updates on how long the food will take etc. In the end we just paid for the food and drink that we had because we definitely didn't have a bottomless brunch. AND we were being served by the manager and he tried to make us pay for bottomless brunch. Ridiculous.
Would give it another try with a smaller group as they have a good variety of gluten free options and just hope they were having a bad day this time as it wasn't even busy until noon-ish! Definitely not running...

I came for my 21st birthday as a group of 7. We were welcomed nicely to our table. We had one waiter/usher introduce himself as our waiter for the night but he never came back to us.
When it came to ordering our food it took about 40mins+ for starters to arrive and when we finished, we had to call a waiter to ask how long mains would take and he said he had no idea but after checking with chefs he did not even give us a time. When mains did arrive around 30mins later, the waiter had the audacity to say “it was worth the wait” but two burgers were cold so we sent them back and by the time there was a replacement, two people had already finished their mains and the burger was only warm.
Many waiters walked past us and when we had finished our plates minutes ago and the waiter that attended to us towards the end of the night looked fed up and didn’t want to be there. A friend asked for her food to be takeaway and it seemed like they forgot about it, we thought it had been eating or thrown away but we even had to ask the server where it was and it came back in some foil not even a box. At the end they deducted £50 and service charge. We were sat there for almost 3 hours and tables around us were leaving ahead of us. It slowly became a club/pub after 9:30pm, very loud and casual and it was not the atmosphere i wanted for fine dining.
I do not usually eat out at fancy restaurants so I am unsure if my expectations were too high but you would even prefer to eat at Bills and have...
