KFC Canterbury - Whitefriars Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Canterbury

Overall a good KFC, service was quick, food was great and up to the usual standard that you expect from a well run KFC franchise. Unfortunately it lost one star due to the fact that it was a little unclean, not dreadful wouldn't go again unclean, just a little TLC required on behalf of the staff. It lost two stars on the atmosphere, a little small and snug fit with regards to the seating layout. One thing I wasn't impressed with and this is not down to how the restaurant, was it attracted a very young crowd that just appeared to be lingering around even though they weren't eating, loud and rude to the staff. Very difficult for the manager/staff to deal with this as I am sure they do not want any confrontation with them, is it worth evolving the police. I felt quite sorry for the manager in particular, she was getting verbal abuse for no apparent reason that I could see. Don't get me wrong it was still a decent meal, just got to switch off from the young...

Do not order a bucket of chicken of any size for delivery via this branch of KFC. Firstly it took almost an hour to receive our food (and I know it wasn't the driver but the actual KFC branch as I was watching on the app). Secondly and more importantly, (as this is the 3rd time its happened), out of a 14 piece bucket, 10 of the pieces were legs/drumsticks! That is just not on. My understanding is that it's supposed to be mixed and yet Whitefriars has consistently sent us a majority of drumsticks the last 3 times we've ordered - this one took the absolute mick though. Surely KFC have some sort of 'formula' that the franchisees are supposed to follow for what you can expect...

Just had a delivery from here whilst visiting my daughter. Not just the worst KFC that I have ever had, but probably the worst food full stop. I wouldn't describe it as "crispy", but more "crunchy". As if it were cooked yesterday and then refried today. As for the taste and smell? It was all, every type of chicken in the order, tainted with something truly awful. If I had to guess, I think I would say that they have probably not changed their oil in over a week. I am now genuinely quite worried that I will become sick as a result. And we didn't even eat much. Most of it has gone in the bin. Complete waste of money and we are now still hungry. Will never order from this...
