You can’t order desert here!! They have it. It’s just physically not possible to eat anything else after a main meal. The portions are excellent value by today’s standards. The quality, taste and attention to detail on each plate is always amazing. The chefs working today in particular (lunch service, 02/06/24) smashed it. The pub is so cozy and the outdoor area has had some great renovations. The food was frankly very impressive: really chunky Ham, 2 Eggs, very tasty Chips and Salad in a large portion and cooked to perfection. All for a reasonable price given the current times and with efficient service....
