A friendly cafe bar (more cafe than bar - daytimes till 4pm only) with a warm welcome and smiley, friendly service. The food is excellent; simple snack meals, with a menu that varies a little from day to day, including nutritious filling soups, and a wonderful selection of cakes and sweets. It can be a little busy at peak times, and sometimes I have been disappointed in not getting a table, but this is a sure sign of its popularity and warm welcome. My one suggestion to the management would be to sell vouchers. It was definitely worth persevering and can now understand why it is always so busy.
