An Amazing Experience! The food was sublime, an experience on it own. But when you add the atmosphere, the service. It makes it one to really remember. From the minute we walked in we were treated as we were regulars! Even at the end. My sister and I needed a taxi back to our hotel. We asked the team if they knew of a company. The manager arranged for a taxi to come and collect us from the door. During the wait he was always making sure we were ok, and even offered us a comlimentary drink when the wait was longer than expected. I was actually happy the wait was longer as we got to see more of the enterainent that is on at the weekends. Traditional Dancing! She was ... yeah.. WOW!! IF YOU ARE EVER IN LOUGHBOROUGH OR THE SURROUNDING AREA. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU EXPERIENCE TARBOUSH! OHH BONUS FEATURE! They had a cafe during the day and also TAKEOUT! even delivery via JUST EAT!

I went to the restaurant with my partner on a Saturday evening. We booked it through their website a few hours before we went. The restaurant got busy around 7pm. The place is well decorated and has a great atmosphere. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside. At some point throughout the evening, a beautiful entertainer came to show us some belly dancing. It was exciting and fun to watch. The service was flawless. They were very attentive and rapid to respond to anything we needed. I don't recall many places that I was so well served around the area. And finally the food... They have so many vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free options that people with dietary restrictions don't need to worry. Everything we ordered was delicious, with this different flavour that gets to your senses. We will come back soon, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is a lovely Turkish restaurant in the heart of Loughborough. The decor really immerses you into the culture of Turkey and the presentation of dishes, such as the Tagine, in clay pots and ceramics really added to the experience. Overall the food was good. The peri chips were amazing! The spices packed them with flavour and they were so crispy yet soft in the centre. The mixed grill was made up of succulent meats which we were able to watch cook before our eyes in the exposed kitchen. It was flavourful and generously portioned. The lamb Tagine was a little disappointing, I found it fairly dry and lacking in those deep punchy flavours one would expect from such an iconic Turkish dish. It just didn’t live up to the standards of the rest of the meal. Overall we enjoyed our evening here, the staff were friendly and we would definitely like to return.

We visited this restaurant today... We was with some family members who lived locally and two under 2 years olds.. seemed quiet impressive when we walked in. Shortly after being seated with a five minutes we had 3 waiter approach us to order food we only just sat down. Never the less we continued to order our food as they seemed to be very persistent about ordering. The food came it was pleasant not the best Lebanese I've eaten but pleasant enough. As we eating and talking to each other we notice our drinks disappeared off the table one by one, my brother went to the toilet and his drink was gone he said I didn't even finish it. The female waitress was taking our unfinished drinks off the table.

When it come to paying the bill I kindly went over and spoke to two younger members of staff explained my concern they were extremely apologetic and said they will bring the bill over and will address the matter. Few minutes laters a raging manager comes over raising his voice saying this doesn't happen in my restaurant I will check the CCTV, I stressed I had no reason to complain but before you take anything off anyone's table it's common courtesy to ask if your finished with it. He went on to say iv give you 10% discount which doesn't even the cover the costs of the drinks. He was extremely angry and unprofessional then to top it off he drags the waitress over the table and said she said she never took our drinks, so who did? Disappointed in the customer service his attitude ruined our evening.. if that's how you want to speak to customers I suggest you stay in the back and let someone else deal with the matter. I notice how disorganised...

Right…they say you never get a second chance at making a first impression, and that’s so true here. Went here for a friend’s birthday as I’d heard good things about it so I was eager to check it out. What a total disappointment. Don’t get me wrong, they were very welcoming and the staff were friendly but that amounts to nothing if the food doesn’t live up to expectations. Having had lamb tagine before elsewhere, I automatically ordered this here because I knew it was the kind of dish I’d like. What turned up was very poor indeed. A small dish of overcooked dry and tasteless lamb with hardly any sauce is what I got. That was accompanied by a dish of dry tasteless cous cous….!!! I tried to mix them both together to try and improve both but dry cous cous mixed into a dry main dish just doesn’t make for a very pleasant eating experience I my opinion. Having had that dish before elsewhere, where the lamb was tender, flavourful and with plenty of sauce, I know what it should be like…and what I got was not it…!! Bad night…? Maybe. Either way, they won’t be seeing my custom again. Sorry Taboush but you need to really up your game in todays competitive market where there are lots of places offering good food at good prices. Sadly you’re not...

Called in on a whim and were greeted in a friendly and warm manner. Despite not having a reseveration we were promptly seated.

Nice feeling inside, and decorated as you might expect. The food we ordered was nice, and reasonably priced. The staff who greeted us and waited on us were all very friendly.

The menu felt like a menu you'd expect to see in Gordan Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (not meant in a bad way), where its just perhaps a bit too long, where he then simplies it, reduces it down, and focuses on several really good dishes rather than lots of variety. I think that would work here, as most of the dishes are typically either chicken or pork, its not entirely obvious (to my uneducated self) what the real differences were.

The only other criticism I would have were the table clothes. There were there, and they look really nice, but they had all been covered with a clear piece of plastic to protect the material/keep it clean, and make it easy to clean down. I fully understand the mentality of this, and the convenience for the restaurant, but it doesn't look that great.

In short, nice food, reasonably priced, and I would...
