Chelmsford Takeaway — Restaurant in Chelmsford

Such a shame that Chelmsford Takeaway is starting to go a bit downhill. It was our favorite go to Takeaway using the Uber eats app. The last 2 orders within 7 days have both arrived with items missing from the order both times being the Turkish bread which is a shame when the orders are for Kebabs. They did send some out last week but this week the order took well over an hour to arrive and the standard of the food is going down. We used to get the rice meat and salad all in one container and a fair amount for the price which is not cheap by any means. But lately the portions come in separate containers and much less for your money. This last order was just under £32 for 2 Kebabs and a potion of wedges. It is a shame as we do like to support local business and have used this Takeaway all through the lockdowns. They probably won't read or reply to this review but just be aware that it's not as good as...

This is one of my favorite takeaways in chelmsford Traditional turkish food and sandwiches/burgers

Quality is good, and consistent (same presentation and amount each time)

Till now ive tried the Adana kabab multiple times, Their humus and Yaprak SArma (Vine leaves)

The adana kofta is tasty, good portion, 2 kebabs Rice is fresh, you can tell its not old or microwaved (Not broken up) big portion Salad is always fresh, no old sogggy tomato The bread they provide is traditional turkish lavash bread, big piece

Hopefully ill be trying the rest of the menu and giving another review, hoping they wont dissapoint

Absolutely terrible , I usually use this company but not no more, I called to see where my order was after an hour of waiting I was spoken too so rudely telling me it's gona be another 40mins as they are busy and they couldn't tell me when to expect and they put the phone down on me!!! Another 40mins still later still hadn't arrived and I tried calling them for a good 20/30mins and they had taken their phone off the hook so no one could get through to them!!! Absolutely disgusted with them no way to treat customers they should be ashamed of themselves. Nearly two hours u waited and the poxy order was shocking...
