Firstly I'd like to state I wanted to offer a 2.5 star but not the option to. The positives. The restaurant has a great vibe and feel to it, seemed clean but to be fair it's brand new so it should do. We tried to book a table but was told they were fully booked so decided on a take away to eat in the Beer Gardens. Specifically asked how long service would be as we Had 3 kids within our group that would have to be home for bed. We were told it would be fine and the wait wouldn't be long. Turned out to be just shy of an hour for 3 pizzas. The restaurant was only about 3/4 full, if that.

Baring in mind the pizzas were take away, none of the pizzas had been sliced, seemed odd. This meant we had to go back and asked for them to be sliced which took quite a while. The pizzas them selves were average at best. A bizarre mix of burnt in places and under cooked in others. Toppings were near enough tasteless and I genuinely don't think I've even eaten a pizza with such chewy dough. You'll see from a lot of the pictures that the pizzas come with a big, thick crust. We're not a wasteful group and none of us could bare to eat the crusts as we'd likely still be chewing them now. One of the group had said they'd really enjoyed a sharing platter there the night before but frankly as Bosco's is a pizza place, the pizza's should be the star of the show and they certainly are not. I've spoken to 3 of so friends who have had similar disappointing reviews about the pizza's. I won't be returning anytime soon. Such as shame as the restaurant has got...

Hello There

The atmosphere is really fine and quite cozy, The waiter/waitress are really kind and dedicated to their service.

The food : The burrata was a MEHHH, i have eaten better :(, if you put balsamic creme, salt and olive oil a lot it should pass the test ! The meat balls with parmesan 0/10 recommend ! Has nothing to do with the real deal that i have eaten in other places, too greasy and the flavor was not so good !

The calamari, 6/10 Nothing special with a stink of fish and a small portion, if u are hungry u will eat it, if not, search for another restaurant !!!

The white wine was 6/10 (chardonnay) not impressed, i am really trying my best not to be rude :((

The truffles pizza 5/10, has nothing to do with pizza, it's more bread then pizza !!!

The beer was good :)) thanks God !

The tiramisu was 8/10 not authentic but slightly good !

The double shot espresso was good :)) I enjoyed it !

The service was excellent but the food overall 6/10 !! If u have traveled the world and know the taste of your gut ! Then it's not for you !

At the end the waiter discounted the food that i did not like , he was such a good angel for doing that, but my sincere honesty!! I don't recommend it :(

With all my respect

Dr Richard SEBAALI FROM Paris with LOVE ♥️ !

Best...

Have been twice now and both visits atmosphere was lovely as are the surroundings but as far as the food goes it is mediocre. First visit four of us opted for salads (it was 31o so pizza was not appealing). They were a huge disappointment. The Caesar salad as a main was literally a mountain of baby gem lettuce chopped into chunks with a bit of of dressing drizzled on top and some Parmesan. Myself and two others chose the caprese which was big chunks of tomato swamped in a very vinegary dressing with around four possibly five pieces of mozzarella torn off a ball and thrown on top. We opted for desserts which were slightly better than the mains. Second visit last night opted fur pizza as so many have said how good they are so decided to try again. Both pizzas were a mix of burnt and underdone - crust was almost charcoal on the bottom and soggy on top very disappointing. We opted to have a dessert and although the doughnuts were lovely there were six on the plate and I felt I wasted food as could not eat eat 6. A choice if portion size would be appropriate so food is not being wasted. Not sure if I will return - maybe. It’s currently a very ‘now’ place to go as it is new and in a nice location but not in a hurry to return...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Where do I start, we were shown to our pre booked table, I had booked in advance as I have recently evolved a food intolerance and had been feeling very anxious about eating out recently. I had emailed the restaurant before hand with plenty of notice and they assured me they could accommodate me, as I arrived and said about my intolerance I was greeted with a world of abuse and rudeness as the women who had emailed me was wrong and they couldn't accommodate me! The waiter who was serving us made me feel belittled and like it was my fault, let alone the chefs coming out to have a pop to. They eventually agreed to make me something but I really wish they never. Tomato pasta was the best they could do with no flavour and pasta still uncooked. If it wasn't for the rest of the party I was with I would have walked out at the start! This experience has overall made me more anxious about eating out and has overall spoilt a nice evening I was meant to be spending with my friends. Rude service and shoddy food is what your be greeted with if you eat here. So thank you all at Bosco for this abysmal evening.

I went to Bosco in November 22 as it's quite new in Cheltenham. I arranged for a work meal at Bosco with 15 people. We pre ordered a couple of days in advance. So there were a couple of issues prior to going, we had one person who was vegan, and they don't do an option for a vegan pizza using vegan cheese. So she bought her own cheese, and luckily Bosco were ok with using it and making it as she requested. Good that they did this but I feel they should have a vegan option as standard. The 2nd one was that we had someone who was gluten free, he requested a gluten free base, which they didn't have. So I had the arancini balls for starter and the Bosco pizza for main. I felt they were decent pizzas but maybe just missing something. The atmosphere was good as it was packed. I feel it is worth trying, and I would like to have given them 3.5 stars but it's not possible.

A recent trip to meet up with my family lead to an impromptu visit to the Cheltenham branch. Sadly they were very busy, and unable to accommodate us for at least 3 hours (even when we introduced our Border Terrier who coincidentally is named Bosco) Whilst waiting nearby for the rest of our party to arrive, the host came out to find us and let us know they could rearrange some tables and let us squeeze in, if we didn't mind "cramming" onto a smaller table. We of course accepted and had a wonderful time, great food and amazing service. All the staff found out our Bosco was visiting and he was treated like royalty. Highly recommended and if I find myself back in the west of England I would make an effort to eat here again. Bosco also would enjoy a visit, if only for the fusses the staff made over him
