Pret A Manger - High Street — Restaurant in Cheltenham

I'm a big fan of Pret — I love their sandwiches and usually enjoy eating in-store when I’m in town. But I’ve had a recurring issue when ordering delivery via Uber Eats from this location.

More often than not, items show as available on the Uber Eats menu, but after placing the order, I get a call from the store telling me they’re actually out of stock. I wouldn't mind so much if they asked me what I'd like instead, but in many cases, they just say they’re sending me something else — often whatever hasn’t sold that day — without checking if that’s okay.

It’s disappointing when you’re looking forward to a specific item and end up with something completely different, especially if it’s not something you’d normally choose.

I still really like Pret and will keep ordering, but I hope they can improve how their stock is synced with delivery apps, and maybe try a bit harder to offer real alternatives when something's...

Met some beautiful Romanian ladies sat outside having coffee and accosted them to watch my dig Norman whilst I popped into a store, they loved it...when I returned we got chatting as they wondered how I knew so e Romanian language and they invited me to sit with them. I popped inside and ordered an oat milk latté with honey 🍯. Matt who served me was helpful, polite and SO friendly I ended up buying a dark chocolate 🍫 bar AND an Annie Gingerbread too!! As my dog 🐕 Norman was waiting outside Matty delivered the coffee to our table when ready complete with a sachet of Rowse honey 🍯 😀

Thank YOU Matty, you are a credit to the Cheltenham store. The queue was long but you were calm,efficient, personable and friendly with a sprinkling of professionalism 😘😚☕🍪

terrible situation today handled incredibly poorly by the initial staff member and then the team leader. high street Cheltenham. ordered a baby latte for my toddler. it arrived searing hot and burnt my daughter's lip. I took it back to ask them to put some cold milk in it, which was done without any apology and loads of cold milk poured on top which completely ruined the drink, spilling milk all over the place in the process. then my wife went up to complain and was not offered an apology either, just asked if we wanted another one. completely inappropriate and dangerous to serve a toddlers drink with boiling milk. no idea of customer service. absolutely disgusting...
