The Beaufort Arms — Restaurant in Cheltenham

That was a really yummy Sunday lunch. Very friendly staff, quick service. We had the beef, the lamb and the belly pork lunches, with additional veggies and pigs in blankets. Big portion size. Too much to eat. Other tables got a doggy bag for the left overs. My only personal criticism would be I like smaller roast potatoes because with roasties, it's all about the crunchy edge. Desserts were very good especially the monster chocolate brownie. Clean toilets. There is a small car park at the rear. Thanks to the Beaufort team. We'll be back to try the small plates...

Four of us just had a fantastic lunch at the Beaufort Arms, we’ve been before and it was great so we went again and took friends and it was great again and they loved it too. Great food, great service and a nice chill atmosphere even the music was good. We had a variety of tapas including the salt and pepper squid, pork belly cassoulet, bavette steak, beetroot burger, chicken wings, duck croquettes and more everything was well cooked, well presented and delicious, the wine was good too 10/10...

When we found out we were getting our local pub back, we were looking forward to the reopening. Except we have not got our local pub back. This is nothing like a local pub, it is a restaurant with an extremely expensive bar attached. Can't comment on the food, just shocked at the drinks prices. Nicely done out, but in a very ordinary geographical setting compared with, say, the Promenade. Not sure how well this business is going to fare in...
