I was enticed by the nice grilled cheese smell coming out of the shop, but unfortunately it was all downhill from there.
The queue was long and slow. I scanned my VIP pass after made payment and was told it was tough luck and I wouldn't be awarded the 10% discount. I'm sure the push of a few buttons on the machine would've all it would have taken to reprocess the transaction, especially as I had paid in cash. The lady at the till was friendly but short in her manner.
The second queue for the food took way too long. My food was on the grill and they forgot to call out my number, when they eventually bypassed my number I asked as to where my food was. It was unfortunately cold and the melted cheese had since solidified. It wasn't nice at all.
There were hardly any chicken pieces in my chicken cheese mushroom crepe. It was mainly mushroom. I feel ripped off for £10.50
The chicken is labelled halal on the menu but their kitchen practices seem questionable to me as it's all on the same grill and the same utensils are used for the ham. Also when you see how much butter is used it just puts you off. There was no seasoning, just bland.
My daughter liked the Oreo savoury crepe so an extra star for that. Probably has 1000 calories.
The outside tables were dirty and nobody was removing the rubbish left from previous customers. Filthy and covered in garbage.
Can't recommend and won't go back. Poor experience, poor service, poor...
Read moreI recently visited Creperie Angelle in Bicester and unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I ordered the chocolate fondant and banana crepe. While the crepes were okay in taste, they didn’t leave a lasting impression. The flavors were alright, but I’ve had better elsewhere.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. There was a woman working who seemed visibly annoyed. We were still deciding on our order when she asked if we were ready, and when we said we needed more time, she gave us an uncomfortable look and wasn’t friendly at all. It wasn’t just us—she seemed to have a similarly cold attitude towards another customer, which made the atmosphere feel tense.
The service and overall vibe were disappointing, and with the quality of the food not being exceptional, I can’t say I’d recommend this place. It’s a shame because it could have been a pleasant experience, but the combination of so-so food and unwelcoming service makes me...
Read moreI’ve seen many people recommending this crêpe place in Bicester Village, and I finally got the chance to try it🫢 It definitely didn’t disappoint‼️ I ordered the chicken, mushroom, and cheese crêpe — the crust was incredibly crispy, and you could hear that satisfying crunch the moment you bite into it🤤 Inside, the cheese was so generous it gave that perfect stretchy pull. The chicken came in two big, hearty chunks. Meat texture was firm, though just a little on the dry side. The mushrooms were fragrant, juicy, and packed with flavour🍄 Every single bite was filled with delicious filling🥹 For Bicester Village, I’d say the price is pretty decent for a crêpe. The shop is located towards the middle-back area of the outlet — perfect for taking a break and grabbing something tasty when you’re tired from shopping♨️
