Fitzgerald's Café — Restaurant in Chesterfield

The food at this café is freshly cooked to order by the owner Mary and is beautiful but having gone for my usual and after went to ask for another latte and said I was just going outside a minute to the waitress Jackie When I came back in my handbag had been moved and the two men that were in there were sat at the table which id was sitting and one of the mens tripod walker at the back of my seat So was taken back and shocked that I Was not asked if I minded sitting with these men and one turned round and said have I took your seat i didnt know you were sitting there !!! and was very rude he did know it was my seat Jackie the waitress turn round and said she'd put them their. WHY DIDNT SHE ASK ME AND PROCEEDED TO SNAP. I told her I didn't want to sit with men She told they weren't like that! but how does she know these men and their stories Ive have been back in and not one of them apologised and admitted she should have had the decency to asked that shows me she has no respect for people and her customers This is very sad as the café is lovely and so is the owner I only wanted an apology seems like its to much for Jackie Webster. and I would never write a review I'd an apology...

The service and food is second to none! Build your own bap (or cob as i get told) with no issue however you build it and the homemade chips are stunning!
