Great service, only used drive through so far but on the whole everything has been great, today for instance, I didn't pay attention properly to my order and when arriving to the pick up point after paying, realised I hadn't paid enough for what I ordered, so I asked about it and it hadn't been heard through properly, only the last part.. So they gave me the missed item free even though I was happy to pay.. Extremely friendly staff and I'm happy it's in this location as it's alot easier for me. My son has been inside and said it was nice and clean and good service Updated 30/05/24. Brought our son as he's collecting the new toy... As many probably are, drive through, extremely busy, not a problem.. Service quite good, got our sons happy meal, get back on the main road to discover that the toy was not any of the items advertised and was in fact a totally different, disappointing lil book of some sort.. We were not advised of anything being out of stock or changed.. The boards were still advertising the yugioh /hello kitty crossover, our son is autistic and these are his favorite of all characters, for years upon years.. We make the journey most days for this lately. To have no warning that it wasn't available and just to find it underneath the food was absolutely unacceptable.. I'm sorry but it takes a second to advise an out of stock item, you do it regularly with the ice cream or milkshakes.. 🙄🙄. You have no idea the upset this kind of situation can cause.. We couldn't get back around to query this as it was so busy for some reason.. 7.30pm..? Usually quiet. Thankfully our son did really well with his emotions and we agreed to try again tomorrow as usual and go inside, instead!! He is a great young man and does really well these days in everything. Read moreThis afternoon, we sat for 4 miniutes waiting for somebody to answer the intercom at the order point on the drive-thru. When we drove around, we were then asked to pay for the wrong order twice as they got muddled up.
Then after re-ordering my order at the payment window because they "couldn't find it" and making-lighthearted small talk with the lad at the window, we were then told pull-up and wait by the collection window staff although there were two cars sat in the waiting bays eating their food blocking us and the family behind. I explained that we would pull in as soon as they moved and that and the woman at the window just walked off without saying a thing.
Finally we got into the waiting bay after the other cars had finally moved. 28 miniutes later a young girl came out and handed us a bag which contained our food which was stone cold. And when I say cold, I mean "left out on the side for an hour in a chilled room" cold.
I was going to take it back into the restaurant and ask for at least some warm fries instead of the cold, dry ones we were given but the traffic backup was so bad in the carpark from the delays and needed to return home quickly that we just wrote them off, took the burgers home to microwave and threw our fries in the bin.
We won't be coming back, £23.45 for five cold regular Big Mac meals with Coca-Cola that took 35 miniutes to be given to us is not acceptable. This has to be the worst McDonalds franchise I have ever...
Read moreUsed the drive through. Firstly I was asked to wait, which ok no problem. I clarified my order twice. Then I needed to wait to pay again as there was no one at the window. When I finally received my order it was missing a burger from it. I flagged this right away and it was not on the receipt either. As I was only ordering two burgers it was a bit of a surprise. I thought ok, no problem, I can just pay now and they can hand me the missing burger they had missed off the order. NO, no no no, apparently I would have to circle around and go through the whole drive through process again..! This went from fairly poor service, to bad, and then to down right shocking. There was zero ownership of the mistake by the three people I spoke to and the solution of the staff was to add extra inconvenience for me! I was at the same time explaining to my two children in the back seat the very bizarre behaviour. I came into this expecting fairly basic but honestly the staff struck a new low. Needless to say I didn't go back around. If I could have returned the other part of the order for a refund and gone somewhere else I would have. This review required 1 star to post please...
