Very disappointed. Only experience I've had is going to pick up my partner after being asked to leave as she was too drunk! (in the female door supervisor opinion). Have no problem with that, apart from all she was doing was drinking and dancing. (Is that not what you do in a late licence bar!) Also having worked as a door supervisor, knows how to behave, and as it was the anniversary of her mother passing, the last thing on her mind was to cause anyone any problems. Problem I have is the fact that when asked if her friends, 2 other girls that was still inside could be notified.she was refused. Let's face it, splitting up girls and leaving 1 on her own outside at 1:30 apparently too drunk isn't the best or nicest thing to do. Well apparently compassion nor decency is not in their job description. Point blank refused to notify her friends. Just told to stand around the corner. When I picked her up, I thought I'd mention this to the manager, what a waste of time that was. Didn't seem to care either. Funny how the managers change from day to night managers. Anything that happens during the day is met with sincere apologies, at night couldn't care less. My experience of the door staff and management is just plain rude...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad bad experiences here way back and still sounds like everyone from the staff to the rude manager (Sean) barely know the difference between a tampon and a teabag let alone how to organise smoking to non smoking tables, treat disabled or autistic customers me being one of them or people with various illnesses and similar. I run better pubs and have kept this managers behaviour hot topic which has disgusted everyone Iāve ever worked with. Heās not professional or what the trade looks up to at all⦠avoid
Normally if you see job adverts posted in windows for months on end and no one actually ends up working for you thatās normally because they donāt want to or the manager spends his whole life looking down his nose at the world and wonāt find anyone in his toxic mindset.
When is it ok to smoke around customers while collecting glasses. Much described all toilets were broken drinks over priced management barely cared to pay customers any attention and are very short tempered with little reason

Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here as tourist. After not a minute after the entry a woman, i think it was the security or something like that, mobbed me very harsh to take off my hat. I didnāt understand why, but i did it. As i took a look around i saw some other guests wearing a hat too. So i searched in the internet and on the lowest point of the website i noticed that in here rules a No-Hat-Policy. Thatās okay and i had respect it if i had known that. But strange for me, why was i the only guy who has to take off his head and the other ones not? After leaving the pub, i searched for something with this restriction on the entry but there was nothing. As i already said, itās okay if there is this policy, but in first there was no restriction on the door and the security could say that friendly. Thatās not the english hospitality iām accustomed. I will never come again to this place and i donāt recommend this pub at all to...
