Braw Burgers and Pizzas — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Order took 2 hours to arrive (1 dirty fries, 1 burger, 1 hot dog, 1 portion of fried chicken, 1 milkshake) which was 1 hour later than quoted arrival time.

My partner and I called 3 times and each time the woman answering the phone was very rude/hung up on us when we asked the status of the order. She was no help whatsoever. In fact the third time we called was because she said she’d put us on hold to check where the driver and simply hung up and never called back.

The delivery driver got lost and called us so we had to give him directions to our flat.

When we received our food it was not as described/inedible/deadly:

-My girlfriend ordered an Oreo cookie and cream milkshake - she received a Nutella milkshake and had a severe allergic reaction, having to use her epipen

-the milkshake came with a blank unfilled in label, you might kill less patrons if you fill this in

-Fried chicken was so over cooked and cold you could break concrete slabs with it

-dirty fries were supposed to come with bacon, grated cheese and “drizzled with jalapeño cheese sauce”…it wasn’t drizzled with anything. It was stale chips with inedibly hard bacon and some grated cheese - there was NO cheese sauce at all

-“bbq pulled pork with melted cheese” hotdog came in a stale bun with no cheese and no BBQ sauce, simply dry pulled pork and sausage

Bitterly disappointed, especially with the customer service from the woman on the phone…oh yeah and almost killing my...

This hidden gem has become my 2 AM savior, discovered serendipitously through Just Eats. After two orders, I'm thoroughly impressed by their craft. Each burger feels like a distinct culinary creation, making their menu an exciting adventure to explore – though I admit, they're so irresistible I keep forgetting to snap photos!

My journey through their menu has included the Braw Chick, Bison is Gouda (clever wordplay!), Philly Steak, and Bourbon Bacon Burger. What stands out is how each burger maintains its unique identity – there's no flavor repetition here. The kitchen's commitment to distinct taste profiles for each creation is remarkable.

For night owls seeking quality bites, this place is a godsend. The value proposition is unbeatable, and the taste consistently hits the mark.

I usually try to write positive reviews only, particularly for small businesses, but unfortunately I had a poor experience with Braw Burgers. The main problem was the delivery time, which was advertised on Uber Eats as between 25-30 minutes but it was ultimately closer to 1 hour 25 minutes. This may be a fault on the part of Uber Eats, not Braw Burgers, but when I phoned the restaurant directly for updates, on more than one occasion I was given false information and unfulfilled promises about when to expect the delivery. The food arrived very cold, so it's hard to make a fair assesment of the quality. The portion sizes are very large and I think the prices are quite fair for the amount of food you recieve. I wouldn't describe the food as high quality or especially tasty, but again that may be (at least in part) due to the fact it arrived very cold. I probably wouldn't order from Braw Burgers again, but I do hope that other customers have a more positive...
