Genting Casino York Place — Attraction in City of Edinburgh

Having been to a few Genting casinos, I was looking forward to my trip here. On arrival, I was greeted by a young, smiling lady (Saska) who welcomed me to Genting Casino, and after checking my membership and a quick joke of winning millions I was inside. This casino is a good size (ground floor) with a few tables to your left and a good selection of slot machines over to your right. I was then greeted by another happy, friendly Genting casino employee (neil) he was according to his snazzy t-shirt, the slot host, and I can see why. He was friendly, polite, down to earth, and able to have a joke/banter. He made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. He very kindly took my order for drinks, as I was mid feature game. Spent a few days in Edinburgh and had to check out a casino because it's fun to gamble overseas, except when it's not! I had the best time in this beautifully located casino. It is small and I would stay away from the slots but Blackjack was beyond fun. Yes it's a six deck shoe and cards go in often but for all of you real players BJ pays 3:2 and dealer STANDS on soft 17. I was the only one at the table and the action was so fast and just fantastic. The Roulette wheel has a single 0 with 5 pound bets per spin so if that's your thing, a good option. The staff were hilarious. I think this New York lady made them laugh and laughter is good. I am so going back here. Nobody was grumpy. Maybe some reviewers are just grumpy themselves but I loved my experience...

Great bar, with good atmosphere about the place.

Friendly, helpful and polite bar staff that are quick to serve and accommodate. Groups of many sizes can be seated here, both inside and out with a good variety of food being sold too on the Greene King app. However If your battery dies, the staff can take your order the traditional way!
