I'd heard good things about this bakery and thought I needed to try it when next in Edinburgh. Well it didn't disappoint. We sat in with the dog (always a bonus), had a round of buns, doughnuts and coffee all of which were fab. I then also bought some amazing focaccia which I'm surprised to say did make the train journey home but was demolished when I got back. Since then I've been back again and was not disappointed. I'm planning another trip this weekend and looking how I can factor in a visit whenever I'm passing the staff are great, food amazing, what's not to like. Cheers

Update 22/07/25 - still visiting, still fantastic. Dropped in this morning on a visit to Edinburgh. Just a short walk from the station and we sat in eating cinnamon buns, Boston cream doughnuts, great coffee and left with a slab of emmental/mango chutney focaccia and another cinnamon bun for good measure. Just excellent and never...

DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR VEGANS OR GLUTEN INTOLERANT! Came all the way with a friend, I’m vegan and she’s gluten free. The website said there was gluten free bread and vegan options for sandwiches. Arrived and there was not a single thing that was gluten free, and there were no vegan options. The menu was not even remotely the same as the one online. I appreciate that the staff scraped together incredible to make a gluten free bagel but the options were disappointingly limited. My friend could get nothing. The baked goods looked great and bread looked nice, just disappointingly misleading. I’m sure it’s absolutely amazing if you have no dietary restrictions, I just wish they would update their site to reflect that they do not in fact cater to the restrictions...

My neighbour, pup and I, came in at about 1:30pm (03/12/24) to order some coffee and backed goods, hoping to have a chat with each other and, although we missed the basic sign on the front door saying they closed at 2pm, the young woman took our order, said she’d take it to our table, then informed us they would close in 5 minutes. We hadn’t seen the hours-open sign as we were trying to make sure our small pup was allowed in, but to take out order, knowing we were going to be sitting in, then informing they were closing in 5 minutes is a bit breathtakingly underhanded. We definitely felt it was wrong not to inform us they’d be closing in five minutes BEFORE the purchase (as we were audibly picking out our seats due to...

I haven't had many bagels in my life so far but these were amazing - I can finally understand the bagel hype 🥯 I had a bagel with toasted sesame seeds and vegan filling (tofu with veggies and satay sauce, which surprisingly reminded me a bit of banh mi) - the bagel was definitely the most prominent & delicious part of it. The pistachio doughnut had a lot of airy & not-too-sweet filling and the filtered coffee was very nice as well. We were lucky to get a table as the place is rather small and it was quite busy on a Saturday morning 😅 We paid around 26€/£22 for everything.

I’ve been just now. I have brought 2 doughnuts to try it, the box was very fatty, with old oil on it, the doughnuts tasty old previous day doughnuts, and the smells like old off milk. I won’t comeback again and wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve got some pictures to share my horrible experience… The service was okay, really fast and the atmosphere was positive looking. I would suggest to the doughnuts owners to be much more focused on the tasty of it stead of how it looks… In the box it was amazing beauty, the taste was really bad…
