we stopped at hanks after walking around the castle all morning, we were famished. we picked out two panini specials for lunch with side salads. that was the perfect amount not only for the wallet but for the belly. we left feeling full but not bogged down, re-energized for more exploring in the city. the salt and pepper chicken with chipotle sauce and slaw was particularly good as was the broccoli salad. although we were tourists we felt this was a spot we could easily pop into on a weekday if we lived here. will come again (did actually come again for breakfast...

I had a toasted ciabatta sandwich with a tex mex filling (pulled beef in a spicy sauce, avacado, cheese, salsa), it was awesome. The ciabatta was excellent and the beef was really tender! Will definately go back. I also tried one of the biscoff buns, I highly recommend that too. Customer service from the lady at the front of the shop was also excellent, really friendly and didn't make me feel rushed as I took ages looking...

I've been obsessing over them for a while now, and paying £6 for a Serrano ham, chorizo, chilli jam and mozzarella bruschetta with two side salads is absolutely worth it. Is advise you know that you're going to eat a lot of food, so don't think about dinner afterwards. As a place to stop before a trip to the cinema, it's miles better than a nandos or five guys.
