Nice Italian food a little bit away from the centre of Edinburgh. Our favourite were the pasta dishes, the beef lasagna and Linguine Gamberoni were really tasty, very rich sauces, the pasta itself pleasantly chewy, and really generous in portions. Starters were nice as well, the calamari fritti got a good crispy coating with the squid itself being flavourful, and the scallops were juicy as well. The desserts let us down a bit though, not the best quality of tiramisu, and the cheese cake was really an average one. We loved the Pinot Grigio there. It was a Saturday night and the place was super busy, reservation is a must.

Great Italian restaurant for a date night when visiting Edinburgh (from the States). We made reservations in advance to make sure that we had seating, and we were thankful that we did because it was busy enough for a Monday night! My partner is gluten intolerant, so we wanted to go to a place that had gluten free options. Their gluten free pasta is penne only. My partner ended up ordering the Formaggi pizza and I ordered the Linguine Salmone (slightly salty salmon). We also ordered the affettati Mistie Mozzarella and house wines (not pictured). The staff was very friendly and took my partner's allergies seriously.

I’ve been meaning to review this restaurant for quite some time. I pop in quite often for a bite to eat as their food is always outstanding and the service has always been 11/10! I must admit I go for their amazing gluten free pizza which is like no other. Their lunch time menu is extremely good value as is their à la carte menu, it has so much choice! I’ve brought many friends and family members to this restaurant and it is always one of their top restaurants from their visit to Edinburgh. The staff are just absolutely lovely and always have a smile for me. I’d highly recommend to anyone. Never disappoints!

Our first time in Edinburgh. We came without a reservation at 6 and we were seated right away. We got lasagne, bruschetta and margarita pizza. All dishes were delicious. Bruschetta was decent, we have had better. Pizza was above average. And the lasagne was delicious, didn’t even need a knife to cut through it. Started to get busy at around 6.30pm so book a reservation we just didn’t know! They charge a 10% service charge, and with 2 cokes it came to 34£ which is very reasonable.

Fantastic meal 3' of us with wheat allergy Best Gluten Free pizza & pasta ever tasted. Any pizza or pasta dish is offered with gluten free penne pasta or pizza base. Portions were so generous we struggled to finish it. We hadn't booked a table as we found it online but despite being busy they fitted us in. Lovely table in the window. Very good with children, good choice of juices. Very quick service. Lovely end to a busy day sightseeing. No problem Parkinson a Sunday outside

Some of the best pizzas I've ever had! I got the carne pizza which had the most amazing tomato base and a variety of high quality meat as a topping. Price was extremely reasonable and quantity of food was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. My partner got the prawn linguine, rich in flavour and a good number of large prawns which tasted fresh. Would happily come again anytime! Edit: i went to italy and had a variety of pizzas, this one is still the one i think about!
