A Hidden Gem in the Neighborhood. Fantastic Food & Warm Hospitality!
Dropped into Kuzina for lunch with a friend, and from the moment we stepped inside, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the male server who greeted us was exceptionally warm and friendly. A great first impression!
We were seated by a lovely window-side table, conveniently placed next to a radiator (a thoughtful touch on a chilly day). After browsing the menu, we opted for the Mixed Grill for Two—and what a fantastic choice that was! Every bite was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous, more than enough for two, making it a satisfying and hearty lunch.
What I love about Kuzina is that it doesn’t try to be overly fancy, just simple, well-executed, high-quality food that speaks for itself. The experience felt effortless and enjoyable, exactly what you want from a local eatery.
To top it all off, when the bill arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to learn they’re offering 50% off the bill from Sunday to Thursday until the end of March—an absolute steal! That said, even at full price, the meal was excellent value for money given the quality and location.
If you’re in the area, Kuzina is definitely worth a visit. I’ll...
Read moreI'm really impressed with my delivered meal. It can be difficult for a vegetarian who eats a very low-carb diet to find interesting food, as anything with pasta, rice, bread, potatoes, etc., is out. I ordered the tzatziki dip, the aubergine dip, and the feta-and-red-pepper dip, the courgette fritters, the baked feta, and the grilled veg with tahini. While I waited for my order to arrive, I cut up some cucumber, celery and carrot sticks to dip.
My order arrived in under 25 minutes, and the fritters were still hot and crisp, ungreasy and very light. Delicious. Pureed aubergine dip is one of my favourite things, and Kuzina's is probably the best I've ever eaten: lovely tender yet chunky texture, nicely smoky, and the perfect amount of garlic and other seasoning. The other two dips were both lovely. I have had the feta-and-red pepper dip twice before at other restaurants and hadn't liked it: too salty from the feta, but Kuzina's was really well-balanced and yummy. The grilled veg were a great assortment, with plenty of aubergine, which is one of my favourite vegetables. The baked feta was nice, but a bit too salty for me.
There's plenty of choice for vegetarians, portions were generous, and my meal exceeded my...
Read moreCame here as a walk-in for 2 people tonight. We had a few restaurants in mind but came here as it's newly opened and we wanted to try it. It was our first time having Greek food.
Very eye-catching interior deco and the staff was happy to answer our questions with regards to the deco. Does give off the vibe of American diner with the red and white checkered wall. Great atmosphere with nice music.
Must say, the food and drinks is the main character. For Drinks: Passion fruit Martini Strawberry mojito Both were very great in flavours.
For Appetisers, we had: Crispy chickpea patties (flat falafels) served with hummus Nice and crispy and most importantly, hot in temperature) Grilled prawns (with shells) and served with cocktail sauce Very nice, the flavour was just amazing Main Platter for 2 (Pork and chicken mixed meat platter) served with 4 pita bread and a portion of fries The meat were not dry which I found in a Latino restaurant in the city. Not being funny, but those fries were so nice, they were the best fries I've had
We are stuffed and had a lovely time.
Thank you and...
