Sofia's Lounge — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Tonight I was at Sofia the food was lovely, staff nice . But not happy the heating wasn’t working there was a family who were in before us who were sitting with their jackets on. I really wish that I hadn’t sat down in my seat. As soon as walked through the door I was met by a chill in the room and was really cold they offered to move us seat which we did but it didn’t really make a difference.I really wish that they had told us when we’d booked as it really did ruin the experience and been here many of times and really enjoyed it but I shouldn’t have to sit there in my jacket while I eat my dinner and end up with cold hands and feet which meant i couldn’t enjoy my food due to being so cold at the table I had my son saying that his bottled drink was also flat and didn’t want to make a scene I feel sorry for the staff as it was really cold and nobody should have to work in a environment that’s so cold that your unable to move it’s a shame as I really enjoy the food but after my experience tonight I will not be returning which is...

Tasty & filling quality food!! We just moved into our new house today and after 10hours of carrying and unpacking boxes and furniture we really needed something filling and hearty to eat. We realized that in this new area we were kinda spoiled for choice so we went with what looked the tastiest to us on Deliveroo and we definitely weren't disappointed. We'll 100% order from this place again. Yummy chicken burger, yummy falafel, and a really refreshing quality salad! Friday night dinner. Humus meze starter comes with one tiny bit of bread, then they charge 3 quid for every extra bit that you need, and you need at least 3 for the right humus to bread ratio! £9 starter becomes £15 starter. Mains were ok moussaka was more like a stew though. Lamb skewers were no more than ok. Didn't like that the bill had no service charge showing on it, then without being asked, they just add a service charge when you come to pay.
