We ordered two cakes, plus lunches, for our wedding day in Edinburgh. I am celiac, alongside nut and milk intolerant, and it was just incredible to have a wedding cake that met all the dietary requirements of myself and guests, and especially to have cakes that were so delicious.
Many guests could not believe the cakes were gluten-free. It was easy to order and arrange both trial cakes and delivery for the day. I really appreciated the chef making flavour suggestion with the trial cakes as this gave us more options to consider.
I ordered edible flowers from a separate supplier and dropped these off the day before the wedding. The chef did a wonderful job of decorating without knowing what flowers they would receive in advance.
They cakes looked absolutely beautiful, and the lunch bags were much appreciated by the bridal party and suppliers who were at the venue the morning of the wedding.

I do not have this condition , however I can imagine for those that do ,they could be made to feel very uncomfortable by such behaviour. However this was the same assistant who on another occasion started cleaning my table manically with a cloth while I had not finished or requested it. Shame this happened as the foods some of the best in the city and at a very...
Read moreThis was pretty good! As a coeliac and vegan, it was bliss to find a 100% gluten free bakery that also offers quite a few vegan options. It was hard to choose as there were quite a few options and everything looked appetising, but I went for the chocolate brownie chunk in the end, which was very sticky and luxurious. Paired really well with my soya latte.
I also bought a couple of cheesy tikka scones for my flight later on that day. Great to see even the savoury offerings had a vegan option. It was a bit dry, but I’m sure it would have been great if heated in a microwave prior.
All in all, if I ever visit Edinburgh again, I hope to visit this place quite a few times. Could do with some sitting area, but highly recommended nonetheless. And although I didn’t manage to see it,...
