We ordered a delivery on Friday evening and despite the long lead time the food arrived in good time. That's the only positive of this entire meal. Firstly it was very expensive in comparison to other takeaways of much higher quality. The Pad Thai was very sweet and lacking in ingredients other than than noodles and chicken. The fried rice That basil was one dimensional with no flavour, and not a hint of Thai basil which was the reason for ordering it. Just salty and sweet. Just rice and chicken pieces. The roti (£4.20) was comically small, around 10cm in diameter and just one piece. The other dishes were simply ok. Thai food is meant to be vibrant, balanced and exciting. If I was asked to guess what cuisine this was meant to represent it would be almost impossible to say based on appearance and flavour. This meagre meal for 3 people came to £45 (although with a £10 discount which eased the frustration). We were all hungry afterwards. When we order this number of dishes from our favourite Chinese it costs almost exactly half the amount (not taking into account the discount) and we always end up...

May 2020: We came back again and were keen to try the Pad Thai. This was after watching the Facebook live update showing the chef making their homemade sauce. We asked for tofu Pad Thai - takeaway of course during the lockdown.
When we got back home I had to weigh it (yeah I’m one of those people that use apps to count calories!) and was surprised with the huge portion; 700 grams 😱 fantastic value for money! I therefore split this over two days, but would have been happy to binge on all of it at once!
This is one of the best Pad Thai I have had in the UK and is similar to what you’ll get in Thailand. I suggest asking for extra sauce, but that’s just my personal preference!

December review: Thai2Go opened in December and I can’t stop returning! The food is authentic and is so so tasty. Large portion sizes make it great value for money. I’ve never tasted better spring rolls, but everything is delicious! BTW we came back and now hooked on their green...
Read moreBeen there twice, eat-in, what you would expect for typical mediocre street-food, not good, but not as bad as to leave a negative comment. The only pros I would say is that the portion is generous and you will definitely leave with a full stomach. The pineapple fried rice is ok, a bit greasy, the pineapple is still sour and undercooked as well, so it keeps all the unripe stinginess. I generally don’t recommend having Thai curries in this country, I don’t know why all the Thai food places I’ve been in the UK let you select the meat in the curry as a conventional thing. This actually means the meat is added too late to get any flavour from the curry. I ordered a green curry, the overall flavour is ok, it was a bit more spicy than what I expected, but the texture was too dense and granulated as I can actually taste the powder, but I have had worse Thai curries in the UK at even higher price, so I’ll give...
