Having specially booked a Christmas experience and really looking forward to it for ages as tony macaroni is my favourite restaurant...but got there just before our 3pm time. Was shown to our table and was given both the Christmas menu and the usual menu. We sat looking at the Christmas one and both decided on the soup. The turkey with all the trimmings and cheesecake. The waitress came and took our order. We were told oh sorry...no soup...no turkey. We are out. I said to her but we booked the Christmas menu especially. So i looked at the menu again and settled for lasagne... Oh sorry....we are out. I really was not happy. And if it wasn't just before Christmas then we would have walked out. But we stupidly stayed. The starters came. Which were really tasty. So good start. Then i ordered macaroni cheese...which came and it looked really cheap and nasty. Was undercooked pasta and no cheese at all. Just watery sauce. I did try to eat it. But only had afew bites before I was done. The waitress did eventually come over and ask if i wanted it redone. But I said no. Because i wasn't wanting another watery looking pasta so after we finished. Nobody really came around us to take our meals away.and eventually the other waitress came over and took our plate away. She was so lackluster and had absolutely no go about her at all except to say do we want anything else...and we said erm.... yes we had ordered a 3 course meal...and she said she would bring our desserts over....i could see our desserts on the counter...and they sat for absolutely ages and she made no effort to bring them to us..then eventually i was actually about to get up and get them myself and she walked past and i had to ask ber to go and get them the cheesecake was ok. But felt like she didn't want to be there...and frankly neither did we. No wonder it wasn't busy when everywhere else was. We won't be back.booking a Christmas meal...and nothing is available. then don't make a Christmas menu.

we headed into Tony macaroni for a relaxing lunch, and unfortunately we got quite the opposite. music so loud it left your head pounding, service so slow(we were in there for 3 hours just for pizzas and drinks) and to top it off, a bone was found in the chicken on our pizzas. as we raised this with the staff, they hardly acknowledged it, and went on to laugh about it with the chef. we may sound picky, but the pizzas when they first came were cold!! and the alternative pizza that came was burning, only telling us how hot it was after we had touched the plate and got burned.chips where baltic!! when they actually came had to remind them twice!! shocking!!the staff thought they were funny, but in reality, they were quite rude, doing inappropriate things outside. not really the type of service you want in a busy public place. to be honest, i should have brought my dog, he would have enjoyed the bones!!

The food was really good, the host at the entrance was very gentle and acomodating. The menu is very varied and the value for money is pretty good. I'd definitely go back. The only reason why I give a 4 star review is due to the waiter's attitude. I understand it was a super busy night, it was a Saturday evening, after a rugby game, we waited to be taken care of for more than 20 mins, we were served after 2 tables which arrived more than 20 mins after us. And when that was pointed out to the host, he was kind to explain the reason why - I had ordered a mixed grill that takes longer than pizza - but the waiter became rather rude, when we got the bill, the information there was barely visible, we requested to get one that we could read and the reaction was even worse.

I gave this restaurant a 5 star review 6 months ago. I am changing this to one star ( no zero star option available) after a shocking experience on my visit on Saturday 30 July at lunch time On entering this establishmen there was a real musty /damp smell as though the establishment hadn't been cleaned properly. This subsided a bit once the air conditioning set in. We were the first people in and were placed initially at a pair of seats next to the till which were both ripped /slashed. We got moved to the next seat where a waitress had dumped her jacket. We placed our order and felt we were harassed into ordering another starter. Our main course was recievedl less than 5 minutes after ordering and recieved before the additional starter- which we felt was forced upon us. We have visited on many occasions and my favourite dish is your Spaghetti meatball dish which was the main reason I gave a 5 star review 6 months ago. The meatballs om yesterdays visit did not look or taste fresh and the sauce was virtually non existent. It tasted and looked as though it had just been zapped from a previous service. The bruschetta was burnt and had very little goats cheese. The toilet facilities were disgusting. The floor in the ladies was soaking wet and had cardboard laid on the floor to soak up the flood/spillage and also smelled disgusting and the gents were not up to basic cleanliness standards. We were constantly hectored into giving verbal feedback by various members of staff. We kept saying the food was OK as we wanted out of the establishment as quickly as possible due to our terrible experience. After paying the full bill the lady who originally served us asked .what was wrong with our experience/ the food. She didn't seem to fully understand English and and to my disgust and dismay didn't think there was anything wrong with the ripped seats which we we were initially allocated. She insisted a deputy manager speak to us despite us again insisting we just wanted to pay the bill and leave. The "assistant manager" who previously who was on the tills and allocated us to the ripped seats on when we initially entered the restaurant , was insincere and not really interested in our concerns and was multitasking in that she was speaking to us at the same time as chaperoning other customers to their seats. Throughout my visit I witnessed a number of complaints about the food and drink particulary about the freshness of the draft soda served I used to love frequenting this establishment but after yesterday's experience I will never visit again. From 5 star to disgusting in a period of 6 months shows that this restaurant is well ...

My original review which was responded to I can't believe I have to leave that review.. Myself and my fiance love Tonny Macs especially the one in Livingston but also we used to like the one we are reviewing now - Omni Centre. However what happened yesterday evening was too much. I ordered Americana pizza and my fiance ordered carbonara pasta. While her order was good as always, I received the wrong pizza (I would have eaten it if it wasn't for the jalapeños which I really don't like) so I kindly asked for the correct pizza. The fresh pizza was brought to our table literally after 5 minutes... Completly burned! Like it couldn't have been more burned literally all ingridients were black. I then was in massive shock... It took me a while to process what just happened.. Then I asked the waiter if she would eat that pizza, she immediately said that she did ask the chief if it was acceptable to serve that pizza and he/she said yes...

I mean to add to it, we looked arround the place and there were more pizzas completly burned some people complained and some just left it...

To add to it further It was my fiancé's birthday dinner... So thank you so much for ruining that.

The next review for the 27/12/2022

We decided to give it one more chance... We though it was one off and because we love the one on Livingston it is going to be all good... So today we took m cousin and his partner visiting us from Poland for the dinner.. Here we go:

We ordered starters :

Mozarella stocks (or something like that) and garlic cheaps to share.

The starters were forgotten completly.

We ordered mains.. And I was specific about my calzone due to an alaregy and the serving guy lied to us that it didn't contain the ingredient i specifically asked for to not be in my dish :(... We got our drinks 15 minutes after we got served our mains..... Again the starters were forgotten. There were not forks or knifes.. We had to ask for them 3 times.. Then manager told me off for apparently shouting at the girls this was not ttrue.. I raised my voice because they would have not listened to me :/ I feel bad for it but at the same time this was a bad experience :/... I don't know what to say as I was made as, i was the bad one in this situation..... To add to it.. Carbonara was green.. Had really bad colour and we paid for somthing it was not finished..

I do not recommend...
