GIVE YOUR STAFF FIRST AID TRAINING! A man fell off a bar stool during my visit, cracking his head against the concrete floor. The staff showed an atomising amount of incompetence, pulling the man off the floor straight away despite risk of further injury. They proceeded to throw the man out of the pub with no further assessment of his medical state. When I informed a member of staff that it was dangerous to do this, due to the major head injury the man may have suffered, I was told he was drunk and had a “sober” friend with him who could deal with him (who they also chucked out). I wonder why the man who was injured was served alcohol in the first place, if the staff deemed him to be too drunk? Happy to take his money but not to help him after a serious injury, not a good look! Myself and my friend tried to help the man, but were told by the staff not to follow him (we did try but could not find him, I hope he is well). Drunk or not everyone needs to be treated with compassion and respect! I hope your staff receive first aid training, or at the very least can show some level of basic human compassion in the...
