The Crown Punjabi Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Coventry

Today I celebrated a family members birthday and I’m so happy i decided to choose the crown for venue. Absolutely phenomenal experience! This Punjabi restaurant is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality and vibrant atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food was beyond delicious — every dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavors. Korma was creamy and perfectly spiced, the tikka dishes were tender, and the naan was fresh and fluffy.

Portions were generous, and everything tasted like it was made with love and tradition. The service was outstanding — attentive without being intrusive, and the staff genuinely cared about our experience.

If you're looking for real Punjabi food that hits the spot every time, this is the place. Can’t wait...

So the food here is very good!! Huge portions, tasty and has an authentic taste which we really like!!

The fish pakora is really good big portions and light, kebab starters also really good. Every thing we ordered when was a lot was good 👍

Staff are really friendly and the bar is cheap!

This is a Cov spit and sawdust type pub, some very friendly locals and some not so (some girl with 3 teeth was kicking off when we went, very loudly) . I wouldn't take my Mum here but I would definitely return with husband and friends for drinks and a meal.

We ordered 4 starters, 4 mains with breads and rice plus rly good masala chips with plenty of drinks and it came to £80! You really cannot go wrong

After looking at some of the fake reviews or reviews from the the owners friends. Thought it's best to give a true verdict.

I called a few times during the week and was told to call back several times!! I also tried to reserve a table & i was told we don't we don't take any reservations!!! When I arrived with my friends for a catch up, we seen a few tables that already had been reserved!!

The owner closes the pub at 10pm. So I don't see how someone can order food that late!!! when the establishment is closed 🤔 The pub has lost its appeal. Won't be going be going back...
