"We recently had the pleasure of dining at Rio's Piri Piri in Coventry, and I cannot express enough how exceptional our experience was. From the moment we entered, the inviting aroma of grilled goodness and the friendly staff signaled that we were in for a treat.
The 'La Familia' platter we ordered was a culinary masterpiece. The chicken, oh, the chicken! The onctuousness was next-level – tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. It's clear that Rio's Piri Piri takes pride in sourcing high-quality chicken and knows how to elevate it to a sublime level. But what truly set it apart was the eclectic spice combo. Each bite was a journey through layers of flavor, an ecclesiastic mix that left us in awe. The balance was impeccable, with the spices enhancing rather than overpowering the natural taste of the chicken.
Speaking of the 'La Familia' platter, it was a feast that transcended ordinary dining. The variety was astounding, from succulent wings that packed a punch to the juicy thighs that melted in our mouths. The sides were equally impressive – the rice was flavorful, the salads were crisp and refreshing, and the peri peri sauce added the perfect kick. It was a symphony of tastes and textures, catering to every palate at our table.
The attention to detail didn't stop at the food. The presentation was artful, showcasing the care and skill that goes into every dish. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating a relaxed environment for our meal. The staff were not only attentive but also knowledgeable, providing recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
In summary, Rio's Piri Piri is a culinary haven for those seeking an unparalleled peri peri experience. The 'La Familia' platter is a must-try for anyone who appreciates the artistry of food. We left with satisfied appetites, grateful hearts, and a newfound appreciation for the exceptional dining experience Rio's Piri Piri delivers. Our taste buds are already eagerly anticipating our next visit to this...
Read more31/3/19 food collected about 7.45pm. We placed a large order at the store and collected it. About 13 burger/wraps and a few portions of wings.
When got the food home all 5 lamb burger pattys were half the size of the bread. When I rang to complaint the female staff denied she was even there at the store n kept asking for the order number. How would staff forget a large order in less than 30 mins from collection? When I provided the order number she quickly asked for my number said that she would call back as they were busy. Even though it has only been 40 as yet I am still waiting.
She actually tried to fob me off by saying the pattys are frozen n sometime shrink. Yes they do I accept that, but how do you expect to charge £1.99 for a burger n still happy to send out half a burger? Even the kids where asking where the rest of the burger was.
Rios just want to say thank you for spoiling my evening with my family.
Update 9.50pm, I have been to the branch and a female manager/supervisor didn't want to give me any refund and kept insisting it is because the patty is frozen, and can't really do anything about it. One of the things she expressed what that it is a 1.99 burger and what would I expect. I promptly pointed her attention to the picture on the menu, and it was not even any where shape or form close to the picture. After 10 mins she eventually said they 'look after' our next order. Let's see if that happens and if we even ever order from...
Read moreWhat a disappointing experience, first and last visit. Whilst clean enough, terrible choice of food. I went for the Mighty Kofta. At almost £6, it was a sorry attempt to present a pathetic effort of a pattie. I felt cheated at the appearance to begin with. Soggy, stale bread, not quite a pitta bread or a bap. Flat bread, definitely not fresh. All fell apart, I have grown up with Kofta so am very familiar with this fabulous described mince meat shaped differently from various outlets such as Turkish, Pakistani or any Mediterranean restaurants. This Mighty Kofta was not even close to Minny. More like a flat burger, not cooked to the right temperature. Barely warm, salad and sauce made it all break up. I wish I had gone to any other Restaurant Diner. Message to the owner, try any of your neighbours opposite your shop. They all do a real Kofta style kebab called various names. Portion control is not good enough, you can get twice the amount from any outlet close to this joint. Value for money is poor. If the taste was good enough and bread fresh, it would make up for the quantity. But in this case, failed at every level. I am certain this business will not last. We all need to make money in these tough times. Please don't cheat customers, you cannot simply don a uniform and become a professional. Look at the guys over the road, they do not wear a uniform. But can present good food effortlessly. Simply put place passion in your cooking and...
