Marmaris Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in Dacorum

Very disappointed, placed an order on Friday at 6pm to request an 8pm delivery. Called at 8.20pm to be told it was just about to leave the restaurant, waited and waited and called again at 9pm to be told again it was "about to leave". I then told them I was told this 40 minutes earlier and was apologised to and told my food was the next ticket to be cooked and ready to leave in about 10 minutes. Meaning the food I requested with 2 hours notice for 8pm wouldn't be leaving until at least 9.10pm. I had to call every time for an update, I cancelled the order at 9pm and was told they would arrange a refund immediately if I send the manager an email. 2 days later and no reply, no refund, no contact at all. I'm still owed £33.40, won't be stopping until you give me back what I am owed and have used Marmaris for takeaway and eating in many times over the years and won't be recommending or using again after...

I am writing this review after a frustrating experience. I ordered from Uber eats. My food arrived in good time - delivery driver was very friendly and took time to explain a new menu / app to order from. Even a discount for our next order.

I then checked my order and I was missing a shish wrap. Not a massive deal I’ll call up the restaurant and see if they can sort for me. I waited over an hour for a return phone call having spent a fair bit of money on a Friday night take out.

I was basically told that the food was in the bag and I am lying.

I run a local business up the road from the restaurant and we use you guys regularly. I feel this could have been resolved in a more professional manner. I would expect an apology and a refund for this food then I will reconsider and remove this review. As running a business I understand how this can be detrimental.

Left a 2 star review 10 months ago decided to try again! Well it’s gone even more downhill I last complained about how the standards of food from salad was dropping after using this place since it first opened! No more grilled veg they used to put on top the kebab. The bread was dry and very stale tasting unlike when before it used to be fluffy and brushed with beautiful herbs and garnish! The salad no sumac and no pomegranate syrup like it used to. Just basic cheap salad portion thrown in a box. The meat is now a smaller portion with lack of any garnished bbq tomato/ pepper like they used to. I had a cocky reply to my last upload claiming that I caught them on a bad day last time we’ll seems to be twice now! Won’t be using again sort this out get back to basics. You have put your prices up but dropped your standards 0 stars official...
