Sizzled Bluewater — Restaurant in Dartford

First impressions were ruined by poor health and safety practices. Not the first time, but there seems to be a trend among servers not native to the UK. I witnessed a customer bring back some sauce as it was not what he wanted, which suggests he tasted it. The woman took the pot of sauce and placed it back behind the counter then gave him some of the mustard sauce. Instead of disposing of the returned sauce she promptly gave it to a different customer! Shocking to say the least. Luckily I witnessed her filling our sauces from the main pots, but who is to say she doesn't return left over sauce back to that?

A shame as the food was quite tasty but what I witnessed was playing on my mind as I ate it. Not much in terms of portion size just enough to curb my hunger but if you're a big eater you will need seconds.

An experience let down by poor practices once again! UK fast food market needs to fix up and educate its workforce on acceptable...

Went for lunch. Ordered the half chicken. Which wasn’t cooked properly (see photo). Complained to the duty manager, who looked at my food and shrugged his shoulders…. Such an odd reaction, he seemed completely clueless about what to do next. After a few moments of awkward silence I asked for a refund, he looked at me as if I had two heads but then when it was clear I wasn’t going anywhere he duly took cash from the till, and offered a belated “sorry” as he reluctantly handed the cash over. I saw the cooks then look at the uncooked chicken and also shrug their shoulders. A very odd experience indeed, no-one really seemed to care a customer nearly ate raw chicken… I’ve looked for a head office to complain too but they don’t seem to have a presence so a Google review it is. No details on their website. From companies house their director appears to be Efthymios NIKOLAOU I’ll probably write to him too as staff training needs...

Situated in the main food hall next to more popular food brands this place offers a large selection of grilled Greek style food. I opted for the grilled chicken which came with bread, salad a large helping of grilled chicken and chips. Coming to a total of little over £8 it’s a good price for what you get. The chicken is grilled to perfection and fresh, along with the chips. The only downside is having to wait which was a little over 10 minutes. Food for served hot and salad was lovely and fresh. It comes with a sauce which was delicious…couldn’t say what it was but it complemented the chicken well.
