My wife and I have just been on a long awaited trip to Haddon Hall, and Bakewell. Wanting a souvenir or two and without sounding disrespectful to any of the other bakers, we liked the look of what was on offer from Bloomers Of Bakewell, Water St. Everything on display looked (and smelled) amazing. Spoiled for choice we bought a few Bakewell Puddings and Bakewell Tarts as well as some other food. After a three hour drive home we tucked into our Bakewell offerings.... ....and they tasted 'heavenly'! Honestly, you have to try this place. The food is gorgeous. My wife has never liked the taste of almonds and/or Bakewell tarts that you get from supermarkets. But, she completely finished every piece of Bakewell pudding from Bloomers. Lovely people, great food. We will be back, even if it is a 5 - 6 hour around trip!

Highly recommend stopping by Bloomers if you’re ever in Bakewell — for the taste, the atmosphere, and the friendly people behind...
Read moreWe travelled from Staffordshire to Bakewell, Derbyshire on Saturday. As usual, the christmas market was very busy. My husband requested a Bakewell Tart and I purchased one from a lovely lady selling Bloomers Bakewell goodies from a little stall. They should be purchased in at least 3's!! They are totally delicious. The gingerbread trees were nice too! Lovely service and a cracking tart!!!! Thank you Bloomers, I will be...
