Out of curiosity I decided to investigate this place. I queed for quite some time as the service was slow and far too many ridiculously over the top concoctions were being ordered by those with far too much time on their hands. I sat and waited for my order to be called out at the collection point. I was presented with a small bucket of mediocre coffee. It sort of reminded me of Starbucks. They can't make coffee either. Prams seem to be a problem here and I'm beginning to appreciate the places that have stairs as it puts a lot of these single parents off.

My partner is a coffee connoisseur and he was pleasantly impressed by the quality of the coffee. For me, I ordered a delicious iced sweet drink and I was stunned by the speed of which the drink was made. I paid for the drinks, walked over and they were both done. It is so clear to see that the communication, work ethic and skill set between the team members are very strong. I’m very pleased and impressed with my experience here.

Absolutely top tier place to study. I came in, studied for an hour or two - no disruptions, cheap espresso to get me through the tough work. Friendly staff, one of the them even help me with my maths questions! Great place, would recommend to anyone except people who don't like a good time! Ironic because it seems like I'll never get insomnia as I'll always be dreaming about the great coffee I'll be sipping tomorrow. Thanks!

Would give zero stars if possible! Staff are so very rude and I would definitely say discriminatory towards our family. Spent 2hrs travelling to visit our Northern family members to meet our newborn nephew for the first time in the beautiful town of Bakewell & we chose what we thought was a nice coffee shop near to where we had parked. The first members of our family arrived at 1.30pm were approached by rude staff when about to sit at an empty table.....telling them they are about to close the table, this did not make sense at the time being 2.5hrs before closing and there are barely any tables there as it is?! During our visit we were told by a member of staff that we could take one of the jugs of water for our table of which we were thankful for- only for another member of staff to approach our table to say its for all the customers, we were a group of 10 paying customers including two young children and there were other jugs available so not sure why this would be an issue? At the end of our visit my sister, myself and my 7yr old daughter joined a VERY long queue for the ONLY toilet that was available (other being out of service). This queue was so long that it took my sister past their end of their 2hrs parking limit. So after 20mins of waiting, just as another customer walked out of the toilet & as my sister was about to walk in a member of staff quickly ran into the toilet and shut the door. We stood outside absolutely bemused! When they came out we queried if she saw us waiting and we told her we had been waiting a long time, she agreed she had seen us but then proceeded to tell us (as she walked off) that it was because there had been a queue most the day! We both said if she had asked it may not have been so bad but this lady was so rude! Then whilst my sister was finally able to visit the toilet, the queue jumper came over me whilst I was alone to agressively tell me how people from the street use the toilet even though they aren't customers and take a long time....etc. I simply stated this was not our fault, we were paying customers, we had been there for hours and we had to wait only for her to jump in ahead of us and my daughter without saying anything, then still unapologetic she was rude and defensive & blaming other people & then walked off. There was no apology from her throughout. Looking at some other reviews on here there are frequent issues around the use of the toilets here - this is not the fault of paying customers! Then once we had all finally been able to use the toilet we rejoined our family only to find that whilst we were waiting for the toilet our other sister needed to feed her baby, & that whilst breastfeeding her newborn another member of staff was trying to kick her out! It was only at this time we realised we had been waiting for the toilet soo long that the store had closed! Two of our family that were leaving ahead of us then heard one of the staff call for security stating we were refusing to leave! My sister had already forced her baby to stop feeding so we could go, leaving my newborn nephew screaming with hunger, yet this was clearly not enough for them! We certainly were not refusing (we honestly could not wait to get out of there as our parking was running out) but then it did make us question the need to call for security- as all of us were all calm and already leaving? So if us waiting longer to use the only toilet available & due to a staff member jumping ahead of us is refusing to leave then we couldn't help to believe there was something more to this situation, we then had huge concerns this was discriminatory behaviour towards certain members of our family as we reflected on the early incidents, scowling and attitudes we had prev experienced. At present I really would not recommend a visit to this establishment, with several rude and agressive confrontational staff members, with concerns that they are racially discriminative and who seem to lack any decent customer sevice, understanding, consideration or compassion for others. Milk was also off in my...

Bitterly disappointed in how my family and I were treated today in this store.

From the moment we walked in the staff were abrupt and rude, we were met with attitude & rude looks. They were rude to everyone, ignoring customers, banging into them, giving filthy looks. I went to sit down at a large empty table to be told oh you cant sit there I’m closing this table, I said okay cool are there other tables as we have family joining us? He replied I don’t know have a look. (Helpful)

There were jugs of water on the counter so we asked a member of staff if we were allowed it to be told yes, so we had the jug on our table. another member came over told us the water was for all customers not just us, grabbed it of the table and slammed it down angrily on the counter opposite us.

One of the toilets was out of order leaving just one for everyone to use and no baby changing facilities. My sister had to change her baby on the chairs.

There was a long queue for the toilets, my Sister in Law and I waited about ten minutes until it was our turn, as I was about to walk into the toilet, to our complete and utter shock, a member of staff walked straight over, cut in front of us and went straight into the toilet.

We could not believe we had stood and waited for as long as we had for her to then jump straight in like that. When she came out I asked if she hadnt seen us to be met with an awful attitude & to be told that she had been waiting all day! We suggested that she might have just said that to us and we would have let her cut in but to jump in the way she did was really rude. She carried on being argumentative & rude then stormed off. We went back to our table, my sister was breastfeeding her son when a memeber of staff stropped over, and abruptly said we had to leave as the store was closing. We explained my sister was finishing feeding then we would go. They then went over to inform the security that we had been there for too long and were refusing to leave?! While I understand its a sunday, people work hard long hours and they probably wanted rid of us so they could go home. The rudeness off the entire staff was appalling. I am beyond disgusted at this joke of a coffee shop and I cannot be the only one. The entire staff that were working today need sacking, they were all...

AVOID!! Staff are extremely rude, both times I have been here I’ve had a bad experience.

First time I was with my dad (had a pot on his leg) and had my 2 year old daughter with me. Only table available was dirty so I asked a member of staff kindly to clean this for us, they passed me a paper towel and spray and made me do it myself… not only that the woman was just plain rude with how she spoke to me.

The second time I used the toilet with my 2 year old as her dirty nappy leaked through her trousers whilst we were in the park, knowing I would purchase a takeaway hot drink after. However, I was in there for roughly around 5-10 minutes as there was a lot to clean, also went all over the changing table but I of course cleaned and sanitised it thoroughly as anyone should so this took me longer than a normal nappy change, I also used the toilet whilst we were in there. Someone tried the door and then knocked, then said ‘she’s only got one kid’ turns out it was a member of staff.

Please avoid if you are wanting a nice cafe where you...
