Used to get a decent portion but the portion sizes seem to have been shrinking for a while now but today just took the absolute mick. Although I paid and ordered for a meal I received the smallest portion or chips and popcorn I've ever seen. Used to get atleast double that but now it's barely enough to feed a small child. The amount I got for the price is disgusting. Is it 10p-15p per chip now? I've actually seen more in a child's meal. Very disappointed.
This is my local so usually my go to kfc but starting to be put off from going. Lots of times I've had things missing like chips missing from meals (atleast 2 times off top of my head) or ordered a large and got a small chips or a drink I ordered and paid extra for was apparently out of stock so was given something different but not reimbursed the difference (this has happened atleast 3 times). Sauces missing (more times than I can count) or gravy missing (this has happened atleast 3 times) another time I had a fillet missing.
Could've made up 2-3 full meals with the amount of things I've had missing and the above is just what I remember for sure off top of my head but I know their was more.
The portion sizes are better from the kfc on the High Street or atleast from personal experience. Aparently at the frenchgate one they're ration sizes and not worth what you pay. I also feel like I can't say anything sometimes as if I notice before I leave their is a particular member of staff who is very argumentative with an attitude. I ordered a large and she gave me a regular sized drink. I mentioned this and with an attitude she said they've run out of large cups. I said I've paid for large and can't she just do a large in a medium and a small cup to make up the difference she scoffed, notched up the attitude even more and sid no we don't do that. I tried to say I'd paid for a large not a regular so I want what I paid for but she wasn't budging. I was disgusted at how she spoke to me and her attitude in a customer facing role. I'm always polite at respectful even when faced with someone like her but now if I see her I know if theirs any issues it won't get fixed. On other occasions if the same has happened with them running out of large cups the staff have been lovely and without even asking gave me a regular and small or just 2 regular sized cups. Luckily she is the only one who seems to have an argumentative attitude with customers as all the other staff have always been...
Read moreAfter a stressful week we came here to enjoy good quality food however that is far from the experience we had, we were waiting 34 minutes for our order and when we asked the staff they had no idea about our order and seemed blissfully unaware they were even at work, they made our food and got half of the order wrong, the burgers without gherkins had extra, the chicken was rock solid, the dirty fries that we paid extra for came as regular fries and the cherry coke magically turned into Fanta and the burger was thrown together with no consideration. The service was absolutely disgusting as they all seemed half asleep and like they couldn’t think of a worse place to be which isn’t the atmosphere you want to have when trying to experience a good meal. Never in a million years will we ever come here again. Diabolical is the only word I can think of...
Read moreWent back to kfc after years of staying away with a bad experience of the food. This time the food was slightly better apart from having a chicken bone in my wrap. Kids however loved the popcorn chicken snack box. The place is extremely busy so expect a long wait. They have just installed self order pay by card machines which are good but the placement of these machines is awkward for cues. If a few people use them you have to cue to the right where customers collect salt ect and there are seating tables there too there was about 10 people waiting for the or orders and we all couldn't fit on the small space so ended up causing a blockage to customers waiting to order and pay cash causing chaos. Staff were very helpful. Overall it's OK for a change but wouldn't go out of my...
