My recent visit to the McDonald's in Doncaster left me with an impression of standard fare and a bit of creativity on my part. In search of a quick pick-me-up, I decided to experiment by crafting my own makeshift frappe.

Let's start with the McDonald's experience itself. The Doncaster location was just as you would expect: clean, well-lit, and efficient. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which is essential for a fast-food joint.

As for the menu, it was the usual array of familiar items, and I couldn't help but feel that there was nothing particularly unique or special about it. I opted for something a bit off the beaten path by ordering an espresso and a vanilla milkshake with the intention of creating my own frappe.

The espresso, surprisingly, had a decent kick of caffeine, and the milkshake was creamy and had a nice vanilla flavor. Mixing them together, I was able to concoct a makeshift frappe that was surprisingly satisfying. It's not something you'll find on the regular menu, but if you're willing to get a bit creative, you can enjoy a personalized treat.

Overall, my visit to this McDonald's in Doncaster was an unremarkable one in terms of the standard menu offerings. However, the ability to customize your own drinks and the convenience of the location make it a suitable stop for a quick bite or a caffeine fix when you're in the area. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, consider experimenting with your own creations – who knows, you might stumble upon a tasty surprise like my...

Well what to say I ordered 5 meals altogether including 2 happy meals for table service, what turned up a few burgers and drinks, no fries in the happy meals, no fries at all and no nuggets with the nugget meal, so I went and asked for it as mistakes happen only to be responded by the manager with an accusatory tone, "are you sure you haven't had them?" Yes sorry I thought I would just come up for a laugh and see if I could get more stuff, then when I said I am very sure I haven't had it, he then asked to see my recept to make sure I ordered fries with my meals and ordered the nuggets, then after a quick look and cold burgers later he said " oh OK ill get them for you then" no apology nothing, he had no customer service at all.this 1 star is for him to be honest as I have been here a fee times and it has been fine but he was just rude and ignorant. This was macdonalds in lake...

Nope sorry cant be nice here and I don't like to leave bad reviews, who do you have working on quality control, my burger would have been better put together by someone who has impaired vision there was grease all over the bun it was dripping, the ketchup is all over my car as it jumped at me and that's just the burger, then I asked the window lady (child) why they had unwrapped my food and put it back together again after giggling they said to make sure the wrap had no lettuce on it wow wrong I see exactly why they laughed my 1 year old neice with paint would have made it look better it was everywhere and the chicken must not have been cooked as I think it ran off before I got it and left me a nugget.

Seriously send the manager to America and see how they do it then come back shut it down and rebuild with new eligible staff I wont just come here again...

The McDonald's at Lakeside Village, White Rose Way, is a solid choice for a quick meal. While it doesn’t stand out as extraordinary, it offers everything you’d expect from a decent McDonald’s. The staff are friendly and helpful, adding a positive touch to the visit. The restaurant itself has parking nearby, which is convenient, especially if you’re visiting the Lakeside Village area. The cleanliness is generally okay—though not spotless, it’s tidy enough for a fast-food restaurant and doesn’t detract from the experience. The seating area is functional, providing a comfortable space to enjoy your meal. Overall, it’s an “okay” McDonald’s that ticks the right boxes: quick service, nice staff, and a convenient location. If you’re in the area, it’s a reliable place to stop for a bite.

Situated next to an out of town retail outlet next to other fast food places and a Pub/Premier inn. Also only a few minutes from the M18 motorway. The car park is quite small. Waiting times here are often quite long either because it is very busy or insufficient staff at quieter times. My last visit was especially disappointing. A 20 minute wait in an almost empty Mcdonalds then received a clock cold Ranch Stack. It Probably shouldn't be a surprise that the place was almost empty. Anyway they were happy to replace it but the substitute fell apart. The restaurant was too cold, parts had been closed off and some of the tables hadn't been cleaned. Some way below the normal Mcdonalds experience.

Always a great experience visiting Mcdonalds at Doncaster Lakeside. Being my Local Mcdonalds, I visit regularly and they are always helpful and on the ball with what you need to know. Of course, I've had some odd experiences here with staff but overall, a good experience. The food is always cooked and warm throughout and they always have everything on the menu, on offer. They were also very helpful during Covid too which again, is massively ideal. 10/10, would visit again.
