Stopped in here for a quick bite with my mum for my birthday last week and the staff were amazing. My mum and I were acknowledged straight away, seated and our orders taken within ten minutes of us being in the building. Our food was fresh and well presented as always. Given that my mum had purchased me a massive balloon, my birthday was acknowledged and a lovely gentleman who I believe may have been the manager came and sang happy birthday to me when he presented us with our food. Not only did he do this but he also gave me a complimentary slice of cheese cake, without knowing he made my day💙. My only regret was not having gotten the names of the two members of staff that served my mum and I so that I could have mentioned them properly, but hopefully this information will be passed on. I highly recommend visiting Wagamama's not only for the amazing customer service but for the delicious food, there is a great selection of meals to suit all taste with my personal favorite being the Firecraker (warning it is spicy). P.s Just incase feedback and recognition is passed on to those amazing staff members we attended on May 2nd 2024 @ around 3pm.

Apart from the decor, once you been to one you have been to them all. You could argue that the staff will be different but that would be true within the branch anyway. Overall an enjoyable experience but I am not a fan of the bench seating, nor the way a meal can come out in dribs and drabs. Our side dish coming out 5 mins before our mains, so it became a starter. Our waitress was a little lacking, nothing to complain about but the other members who looked after us were far more engaging. What was surprising is the table turn around, when we arrived around 7.00pm there was a couple of minutes wait, when we left at around 8.00pm it was almost empty. However our last visit was faultless, we had a super friendly and helpful waitress in Taraji and she arranged for a slight tweak to my usual dish which really improved it for me. We have been several more times since the above reviews and not had a bad experience. The last time we were looked after by Taylor, who willingly went above and beyond to make sure my humble Katsu was as requested. That's how you earn a tip!

The food was delicious and the katsu and sides came out in a good timely manner. The service however was a little disappointing. I am a solo diner and the gentleman who asked me for my order said that my order was boring (Katsu curry) and said he could suggest something way better to which i said no thank you i know what i want. I felt a bit shocked at that and he continued to question my order. During the service i was asked if my food was okay about 6 times to which is way too much and also a plate was taken before i finished eating. When i went to order dessert the server was no where to be found and waited about 15-20 minutes to order a dessert. A gentleman who looked like a manager came and asked me if i was okay to which i said i wanted to order dessert and another lady came to help me. She was really lovely and apologetic and it made the service a bit better. I get the place is new and they keep checking if everything is okay but it was too much. I have been since and there was a change in service which was better.

I was lucky enough to go to the preview on the Saturday evening which I was super excited for, however my excitement about the place was unfortunately crushed when I arrived. The staff who welcomed us were lovely and friendly and explained how everything worked at the restaurant as we had never been before. Once seated one of the waitresses approached us and did not seem very happy. She was mumbling asking us for our drinks and just seemed miserable throughout the whole encounter. After about 15 minutes our drinks still hadn’t arrived which we thought was quite a while considering it was only three cokes. Another waiter came over to take our food order and although he was more cheery then the previous waiter, he still mumbled and didn’t seem as though he knew what he was doing, I will give them the benefit of the doubt as it was open night and they’re still trying to get in the swing of things. The food came out within about 10 minutes and it was delicious, not a problem with it. Once we finished the waiters started clearing all our dishes and drinks however I wanted to order desert, I tried to ask two separate waiters to order desert however was either ignored or they may not have heard me as the music was quite loud. Overall the food was amazing and would definitely recommend, however it was very hit or miss with the staff there as some were very friendly but some seemed they had better things to do or wanted us out the door. As mentioned before this was opening preview night so they may need to get into the swing of how the place works. Might try again in the next few months and hopefully would be a...

We were advised to go early to get a table for 4 people, as it operates on a first come, first served basis. We arrived for 6.30pm and were lucky to get a table, it was so busy. There is SO much choice on the menu, making it a little overwhelming to order. The staff member (Elle) we had was lovely and friendly. However, I didn't much like Elle leaning over the table and scrawling all over our placemats. We ordered what we thought would be a starter and also 4x main dishes, but 2x mains arrived before the starters. Then, one by one, we had a starter, then another main, then another starter, with my main taking the longest, which was just as my husband was finishing up his noodle dish. Bit disappointed about that, to be honest. We would have preferred to have had all our starters first, then all our mains together. The food itself was lovely. Although the noodle dish was 'bland' compared to the other dishes. The hotpot was by far the best in size, portions of meat, variety of vegetables (this was limited in other dishes), and taste. The total was just over £100 for 4 of us, which, although it works out to approximately £25 per person, it wasn't what I was expecting for a 'fast food' outlet that was set up to rival McDonald's (research the history on Wagamama). It was a nice one-off visit, for something a bit different, which might happen again in a year or two,...
