Star Coffee — Restaurant in East Devon

This is a small family run cafe. They allow dogs-which is great.The door is quite narrow and there is a step so if you use a wheelchair it would be difficult for you to access it-the same for prams. The food is always really nice and you can eat in or take out. The lady who runs it is always friendly-and always remembers what we eat even when we haven't been in for ages! I would love it if they employed another member of staff so the food orders arrive quicker.We can only order food when we aren't in a rush because it can take ages.I have watched people who are obviously on their lunch break;wait to be served,but the owner is in the kitchen-so they eventually leave.Its a real shame as its a lovely little cafe and I feel like they are losing money and the poor lady is rushed off her feet!It could be easily rectified by employing someone to help cover...

I've been coming to star cafe in Exmouth for several year's now, and have to say it makes a refreshing change to sit in a cafe that isn't part of a chain. It is has a personal family touch and ambience which isn't displayed in the chain coffee shops. The quality of beverages this little shop offers is first class.
