To the proprietor John Hammond and family. I’ve just listened to you interview with Jeremy Vine on radio 2. May I say what a wonderful person, family you are. Great idea you have on opening on Christmas Day. Yes you have family, they sound well brought up and very respectful. I’m a carer plus a full time worker for my mum with dementia. Christmas to Mum means nothing, just another day sadly. I’ll be cooking a Christmas dinner for 2 of us, with no meaning to it. I just wish we lived near your establishment, we’d be in with open arms. So want a cup of Tea -I mean proper Leaf Tea in a pot with your own strainer- then here is where you should go. Ordered sandwiches only to hear another customer being told they would have to wait a couple of minutes(ONLY) as scones have just come out of oven!! (Freshly baked scones!!) Devon clotted cream AND I ORDERED SANDWICHES!!!! Well now you know where to go you would definitely not want to miss AND the sandwiches...

Visited The Dairy Shop yesterday for lunch whilst i was working in Sidmouth. Had a lovely Jacket potato which was not only tasty but steaming hot which was great. Also had a lovely Cappuccino with real chocolate flakes on top, very yummy but not great for the diet.
