Good sized portions. Came fresh and fast. Friendly service and seemed clean. Fish and chips was huge and tasted great. Mac and cheese was great and the gammon meal as well. Also had the steak sandwich cant remember exact name but odd mix but nice. Highly recommend the halloumi top notch to share. Went back for breakfast next morning. Good portions sizes, quick service, tasty food. Overall really nice atmosphere calm, friendly and inviting. Would highly recommend. Full credit to the staff they were more than helpful on both occasions. Right in town centre makes it easy access and fun to get a window seat and watch the chaos outside.

I Took my wife and grand daughter in for a carvery. The upstairs carvery and bar had young staff and a manager that took ages to serve the people waiting to order .Then the carvery queue was building up and customers getting frustrated with the wait T The staff were still not serving for a good 15 minutes , eventually a young lady appeared and started to start to carve the meats which was obvious that she not slicing the meat properly or the knife was blunt and all the meats she carved broke up just like pulled pork. the meats we had was dry tasteless. Roasts potato’s dry, carrots dry. We started to eat but it was so awful I stopped complained to the young female duty manager. I showed her the quality of the food we’re were served . She agreed to refund two out of the three carvery’s, but not my wife’s, because she had started to eat the Yorkshire pudding but nothing else. It’s the worst expensive carvery experience I have ever had, customer experience we had was not good and whilst we sat at our table we heard two other customers complaining I I won’t be going back,, or recommending it my friends or family.

Came to skegness for a family weekend away, jumped into this place for some breaky as it was the first restaurant we came across after parking up first thing in the morning. When we came to order we was told that they couldn't make a simple bacon sandwich (even thought they served breakfast with bacon on and bread) found this very annoying and it was such a simple request. When it came to order drinks the coffee was cold and didnt taste very nice, my partner asked for a coke zero which they had behind the bar in bottles, but was told she could only have what came out of the tap, so she settled for a normal coke whick was flat as a pancake. We ordered 4 portions of jam on toast as this is what the kids wanted, it all came on one plate and after asking for a few extra plates so the kids could spead the butter and jam, they never actually turn up. Overall the experience was not very good at all and we definitely will not be coming back. The staff were not very help full at all and didnt seem to want to be working here. If I could rate zero stars i would have.

We went on a Sunday (July 24 2022) and cost us £8.99 with a choice of two meats each for an adult which wasn't bad. The restaurant which is upstairs (accessed by stairs or lift) has a nice atmosphere though the day we went it was hot outside and out of the many windows they have in the restaurant only a couple where open so it was quite stuffy. The carvery itself was ok at best, it wasn't bad but nothing to shout about either. They had beef, gammon, pork and turkey but I went with turkey and pork. The yorkshire puddings where big which I really liked though I was disappointed in the stuffing which looked like it had been deep fried and there where only roasters and boiled potatoes available, no mashed potatoe! I wasn't a fan of the cabbage either which was a bit on the chewy side though everything else on my plate (the turkey, pork, roasters, gravy and even the stuffing tasted better than it looked) I enjoyed. I'll probably try another place next time but wouldn't rule out going back if I couldn't find anywhere else and really fancied a carvery.

So we order our meals, 2 of which were steaks, the waitress in the middle of is chatting turns up and just slams down 2 steaks on the table without any saying which was rare and which was the well done, the other meal (chicken burger) was so hard like it was old and had been reheated, the salad on one of the plates had mould on it. The coke's also tasted of just soda I explained what had happened to a different waitress (Kerry) who was lovely and understanding, she gave us a refund for 2 of the meals and 2 of the drinks and apologises. Kerries service was brilliant 5 stars. But the food and the young dark haired waitress were shocking !!
