I’m not sure if this is a review or not. I’d like to address the notice on your front doors - ‘no mobility scooters’. I am a powerchair user and read this as ‘no mobility wheels’. If you are only on about mobility scooters maybe you could alter your poster and indicate that wheelchairs are allowed inside. I saw many different mobility wheels outside of your property but not one entered. In my understanding you are being discriminatory against the users of mobility wheels because of your poster. I’d be delighted to spread the word if your sign could be altered to welcome wheelchair users. Although some of us have to use mobility scooters until our wheelchairs can be provided. Kind regards Hayley

Horrible gravy dinner. Sausages well over cooked. Broccoli tasted funny. Frozen mash potato.Worse meal in a long time I have experienced. Cafe nice spacious Queue to place order.Team bring it to you.Toilets up stairs. Eat in or eat out. It's a bit hit and miss for food. However they do nice chip dinners.

The setting of the cafe is pleasing, its cozy and not too much as well as not being boring. The food is absolutely gorgeous and so worth buying, its not expensive, also, the coffee is great! Staff are really kind and helpful, always there to help or assist, I totally would visit again.

A tale of 2 halfs il start with the good 1st ; The breakfast i had was delicious i cant lie there and the coffee was equally as nice, the food server (older lady ) was charming and friendly. onto the bad news the front of house staff at the till were shocking not very pleasant at all ,all 3 of them clearly did not want to be there , and this is at the beginning of the shift! there was no direction on what to do usually once you place your order staff say take a seat or heres your table number, we will bring it over when its ready or something i got a woman staring at me like im a ufo or something! Who said "you just need to find a seat somewhere! Woooow iv worked in the catering industry for 20 years and never faced rude staff like this! Considering its a hotspot for tourists and locals alike you need to improve massively on customer service ,a good morning doesnt go a miss! Maybe a smile? Or is that too much to ask for? I even left a tip as a test to see if id get a thankyou- nooooope not even thankyou! My visit was friday 29th August and it wasnt even that busy. Id return if the staff improved but i cant say i will...

The food and coffee itself was good luckily. However, the service was horrendous. Asked if we simply sit at a table and then come up to order and got a "yeah" in a tone that seemed like I was asking a stupid question. The person taking my order at the counter was friendly I will admit; however, that was the only positive unfortunately. We waited over 30 minutes waiting for just 2 cooked breakfasts that were very simply 2 cooked breakfasts. The food wasn't piping hot... just 'warm' as if it had been sat under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. There was no apology for how long we had to wait for our food either. We had finished our coffee way before the food was at our table (of course).

Maybe this was an off day but another customer waited over half an hour for a bacon sandwich and it wasn't particularly busy. It's a shame as the food would probably have been amazing if it come out hot and wasn't sat around.

We may give this place another go in the future, again, the food and coffee itself was good, but the service needs...

We chose this establishment as it looked really sophisticated and modern compared to the fast-food places around Skegness. However, the service let us down. We paid for a prawn baguette. When it arrived, it had no lettuce in it. Where we come from, lettuce is standard in a prawn baguette. When I informed the staff at the counter to politely ask for some lettuce, I was laughed at and told you don't have lettuce in a prawn baguette, just prawns. I explained to the lady could I pay for some lettuce and she again scoffed at me and just said "fine".

Afterwards, I could then see the staff talking, looking over and laughing in our direction.

I'm sorry but this totally embarrassed us and made us feel so uncomfortable that even if the food was nice, we couldn't enjoy it and didn't want to confront the staff again.

It is such a shame because seeing reviews where others have felt welcomed and had a friendly atmosphere... clearly something was very off...
