Came in here this week, partner wanted something that was £4 and the minimum card charge was £5 so we didn't buy anything, fair enough - although card transactions cost businesses literal pennies.. strange they'd rather lose a £4 purchase over a miniscule charge but that's their choice.
What prompted this review was the fact the staff members then openly discussed the fact we didn't buy anything due to the minimum card charge, talking about how we shouldn't expect to be able to pay by card and how it's "lucky for some" - in what way is wanting to pay by card a form of luxury? Insinuating that we are being entitled for wanting to pay by card. They were then asking if they should "just do it" to which they then said "if we do it for one person we have to do it for all". Ridiculous. If you want a minimum charge that's your choice, but to openly slate the customer in front of them and make it out as if they were making an absurd request is disgusting...

I will never come here again after seeing the treatment of those girls, I hope...
